PERL_ARTE - The exhibitions at the Palacongressi in Rimini

Photographic exhibition by Davide Conti at the Convivio space
Davide Conti, visionary photographer or, as he likes to call himself, “irregular modern painter”, exhibits his works
at the Convivio Space of the Palacongressi, with a message that draws inspiration from the concept of courage.
Davide Conti's images are inspired by Shibari art, mythology and culture, in a constant contamination between
painting, figurative arts, graphic design and photography.
Images characterized by an allegorical representation of the human figure, dominated by intense colors like red
and purple or contrasting like black and white.
Works that hide a thousand cultural and emotional references and that can be subjected to multiple
interpretations, in an infinite game between the public and the author.
The exhibition by the Bolognese artist is part of the PERL_ARTE project - The exhibitions of the Palacongressi of
Rimini, which the Italian Exhibition Group promotes in collaboration with Art Preview, Augeo Art Space and the
Rimini gallery owner Matteo Sormani.
The Convivio space and the exhibition are open on the occasion of the events taking place at the Palacongressi.
The artist's works can be visited by appointment.

Italian Artists Award PART

Exhibition by the twelve finalist
At PART, Rimini's Palazzi dell'Arte, the new biennial recognition for young Italian art under 40 called the PART
Italian Artists Award. The initiative was born from an idea of Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo and Giuseppe
Iannaccone, in collaboration with the Municipality of Rimini and the San Patrignano Foundation. The aim is to
support emerging Italian contemporary art and to contribute to increase the Collection, through the acquisition of aEVENTI

work by the first three awarded artists.
The young finalists chosen by the selection committee composed of Edoardo Bonaspetti, Lucrezia Calabrò
Visconti and Francesco Garutti, are 12 (Benni Bosetto, Costanza Candeloro, Caterina De Nicola, Binta Diaw,
Lorenza Longhi, Beatrice Marchi, Diego Marcon, Daniele Milvio, Margherita Raso, Andrea Romano, Giangiacomo
Rossetti, Davide Stucchi). They are the protagonists of an exhibition within the PART, which remains visible to the
public for four months. Visitors to the PART can express their preferences, using a form available in the exhibition,
which is added to that of the selection committee. Even the girls and boys from San Patrignano Community can
assign their preferences.
The three winners will be announced during a public ceremony at the end of the exhibition (Saturday 1 October
2022 at 11 am).

Exhibition dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini
An exhibition dedicated to Pier Paolo Pasolini to celebrate the centenary of his birth. Roberto Villa's
photos exhibition on the set of the film “Il fiore delle Mille e una notte” / “The flower of the Thousand and One
Nights”, created by Pasolini in 1973 as the last chapter of the Trilogy of life, arrives in the eighteenth-century
building that houses Fellini Museum on three floors, the sector mainly dedicated to information, study and imagery
of Fellini through documents, images, original posters.
The exhibition entitled "Gli Orienti di Pasolini"/ “ The Orients of Pasolini” will be inaugurated on Friday 9
September at 12am, thanks to the collaboration with the Cineteca di Bologna Foundation, owner of the Villa Fund.
The unpublished images by Roberto Villa, created following the compositional philosophies of the history of art
and the theory of communication, illustrate the film's set and off-set. It is thanks to the perfect shots by Roberto
Villa, who was present on the set for 100 days in Iran and Yemen, in the enchanted cities of Isfahan and Sana’a,
that the atmosphere of the film can be reconstructed as well as the respect for oriental culture and humanity.
At 4.30 pm at the Fulgor Cinema, Roberto Villa and Massimo Roccaforte will talk and present the film "The flower
of the Thousand and One Nights" in the restored version on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Pasolini'sEVENTI

Chamber Music at the Galli Theater
Specially conceived for the Malatesta Music Festival is the program played by the musicians of the
WunderKammer Orchestra directed by Carlo Tenan, a new and very current project which highlights how
composers have always loved to GET from the sources of popular music, reworking and transforming them.
With the participation of mezzo-soprano Helen Walter, the concert takes inspiration from Beethoven, with the
cycle of Contraddances and the the Volkslieder, where Beethoven creates original arrangements of European
popular songs, and then moves on to unpublished twentieth-century repertoires.
A further relaunch for the concert is the publication of a volume created by the publisher Martinville, where the
recording is placed on an innovative platform intended to create a dense network of iconographic and textual
references.

Exhibition dedicated to Fellini's graphic work in preparation for the film 'Il Casanova'
Exhibition dedicated to the graphic work that Federico Fellini created in preparation for the film 'Il Casanova
(1976)'.
With Fellini Forbidden, the temporary exhibition activity of the Fellini Museum continues, integrating the
permanent collection with new contents.
On show the 42 tables dedicated by Fellini to 'Prick' (Anglo-Saxon nickname with which he identifies his sexual
alter ego). A series of authentic caricatures of the male genital organ that make up, with 'The book of dreams', the
only other thematic collection in the vast graphic production of the Rimini director. Almost every sheet bears a
lapidary title, written by Fellini himself in English, perhaps in anticipation of an international publication, of which,
however, there is no other news.
Donated by Fellini to his friend Tonino Guerra, the series is now owned by the web entrepreneur and art collector
Massimiliano Benedetti, from Rimini DOC.

Mozart's masterpiece makes its debut at the Galli Theater in a prestigious staging that director Ivan Alexandre
originally created for the stages of the Drottningholm Palace theater and the Opéra Royal de Versailles.
The opera arrives in Rimini thanks to the Opéra National de Bordeaux in collaboration with the Gran Teatro del
Liceu Barcelona and the Alighieri Theater in Ravenna.
The show is proposed as a return to the origins of the playful drama born in 1787 from the collaboration between
Lorenzo Da Ponte and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
On stage an international cast where the voices of Iulia Maria Dan, Julien Henric, Leonard Bernard, Arianna
Vendittelli, Robert Gleadow Megan Marino and Leonard Bernard stand out, directed by the baton of Antonio
Greco on the podium of the "Luigi Cherubini" Choir and Youth Orchestra.
With the sets and costumes designed by Antoine Fontaine and with the evocative lighting design created by
Tobias Hagström-Ståhl, the figure of the seducer enter our imagination forever.

Timed foot race every Saturday morning
Parkrun organizes timed races of 5 km all around the world, a sport event which is open to everyone.
The run in Rimini is at the Marecchia Park every Saturday morning. Just register on the official website of parkrun
and bring with you a printout of the bar code at every race to get the chronometric detection time. The
participation is free.
The parkrun is entirely organized by volunteers and a refreshment point will be available to runners with coffee,
soft drinks and snacks.
A run together in a green space is fun and it is accessible to all, from beginners to more experienced runners.

Market of agricultural producers which takes place weekly every Friday in the area next to the Tiberio car park.
Here you can buy vegetables, fruit, organic products, cheeses, meats, oil, wine, honey and jams coming from
agricultural producers in the province of Rimini and neighboring municipalities.
The market is organized by CIA (Italian Farmers Confederation) and Coldiretti.

Museum itinerary at the Grand Hotel in Rimini
'The hotel of dreams' is born, a museum itinerary that opens the doors of the Grand Hotel of Rimini to discover the
places and stories of a national monument since 1994 and known throughout the world , thanks to Federico
Fellini.
Nine workstations positioned in the hotel's iconic places; the garden,the facade,the hall and the Tonino Guerra
room where stories are told through texts, photographs and short videos.
After an important restoration of the facade and external walls,the Grand Hotel reopens on February 18, 2022 to
present itself with renewed splendor in the new year.
