ASHK INNOVATION CONFERENCE
OVERVIEW
ASHK Actuarial Innovation Committee is proud to introduce our very first
inaugural ASHK Innovation Conference 2021, to be held virtually on 11 and 12
November 2021 (Thursday and Friday) morning.
Actuaries were the original data scientists. The increase in the volume and
granularity of data, new ways to process and analyze data are things that are
creating new opportunities for actuaries. We're honoured to gather key
actuarial innovation experts or industry practitioners from Hong Kong and Asia
Pacific to speak to our Conference theme of ‘Actuaries Embracing Innovation’.
The Conference agenda will cover the hottest topics and latest trends of
actuarial Innovation including, but not limited to, the future development of
InsurTech, health and wellness ecosystem, and digital transformation.
Our target audience are local actuaries, insurance executives and actuaries
around Asia Pacific. This Conference will be a great opportunity for the
audience to connect to the region’s InsurTech and innovation developments.

*The online meeting details will be emailed to registrants a few days before
the event. All registrants will receive one meeting link to join the
Innovation Conference before 11 November. Each meeting link is only good
for one device.
REGISTRATION FEE
ASHK Member (Early-bird) HK$800 per person
Non-member (Early-bird) HK$1,300 per person
ASHK Member (Standard) HK$1,000 per person
Non-member (Standard) HK$1,500 per person
DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION
Early-bird Registration: 18 October 2021
Standard Registration: 3 November 2021
CANCELLATION POLICY
For cancellation, please notify the ASHK Office by emailing to
info@actuaries.org.hk and provide such information as the registrants’
names and company names.
Unless specified, cancellation before 3 November 2021 will be subject to an
administration fee of HK$250 per registrant and refunds will only be made
after the event. ASHK will mail the refund cheque and the amount will be
the registration fee less the administration fee. In the event of late
cancellation (after 3 November 2021) or no-show, request of refund will not
be entertained. The registration fee will still be due for any no-shows.
CPD
The ASHK Innovation Conference qualifies for (Society of Actuaries/
Actuaries Institute Australia / IFoA / ASHK) Continuing Professional
Development (CPD). Actuarial members may find it a useful contribution to
their personal professional development. A maximum of 6.5 CPD hours* can
be claimed from the ASHK Innovation Conference. The amount of hours
recorded is left to the discretion of the individual.
* 1 CPD hour = 60 minutes
