WHY PARIS ?? Paris is a densely populated city of France; it was containing around 105 square kilometres (41 square miles) of area. Since the 17th century, Paris has been cornerstone for the finance, commerce, fashion, science, music, and painting. The City of Paris’s organizational boundaries form an East-West oval centred on the island. It is historical heart of Paris, That island is known as an Île de la Cité. This island is near the top of an arc of the river seine that divides the city into two parts, one is the southern Rive Gauche and another one is northern Rive Droite regions. The city is one of the major hub for the rail, highway, and air-transport. In this city the air-transport hub is served by two international airports. Paris-charles de Gaulle is the second busiest airport in Europe, and London Heathrow Airport is the first busiest airport in Europe with 63.8 million passengers in 2014. The city’s subway system opened in 1900, the Paris Metro serves 5.23 million passengers daily, and it is the second busiest metro system in Europe after Moscow Metro. Paris’s Gare du Nord was one of the ten busiest metro system in the world, It was comprised of 262 million passengers in 2015. Paris is the landmark for the museums and architectural infrastructure. The louver was the most visited art museum in the world in 2016, with 7.4 million visitors. The Musée d’Orsay and Musée de l’Orangerie were noted for their collections of French Impressionist art, and the Pompidou Centre Musee National d’Art Moderne have the largest collection of modern and contemporary art in Europe. The historical district along the Seine in the city centre was classified as an UNISCO Heritage Site. Popular landmarks in the centre of the city include the Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris and the Gothic royal chapel of SainteChapelle, these both are located on the island. The Eiffel Tower builted by Grand Palais and Petit Palais in 1900, It was denotes Paris Universal Exposition of 1889. They also builted the Arc de Triomphe on the Champs-Élysées, and the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur on the hill of Montmartre. Paris received 23 million tourists in 2017, making it the world’s top tourist destination.
