Times will be set and confirmed by our event manager, so please ensure exact timings are received in writing before you book your celebrant and photographer. 05

ESC APE THE CITY Our Terms & Conditions Escape The City Licensing Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens is a BYO licenced venue. Please be aware that we are mindful of our liquor licensing responsibilities, and are unable to supply liquor to disorderly, unduly intoxicated and underage persons. Patrons showing signs of undue intoxication or disorderly behaviour will be refused service and may be asked to leave the premises. Our corkage price includes premixed spirits only. 1. Tentative Bookings and Deposits Tentative bookings will be held for seven days only. The date is only confirmed when a booking fee of $2,500 (for Ceremony + Reception packages) or $950 (for Ceremony only and Elopement packages) is received together with a signed booking form. We reserve the right to cancel your tentative booking and allocate the venue to another client if the booking fee is not received within seven days. On paying your booking fee you are agreeing to all the terms and conditions outlined. The Bundaleer Experience A non-refundable booking fee of $2,500 (for Ceremony + Reception packages) or $950 (for Ceremony only and Elopement packages) will be deducted off the total price of your function. 2. Booking/Timing Arrangements Bundaleer will allocate your ceremony start time depending on the time of the year. Bundaleer has a number of different weddings areas, with a maximum of two functions booked at any given time at the property. Ceremony start times and timings for the evening are determined by Bundaleer to ensure the smooth running of both weddings. Before you book celebrants, photographers or print invitations please make sure Bundaleer has confirmed in writing a start time for your ceremony or wedding to avoid misunderstandings. 031
ESC APE THE CITY Your six hour package starts at the ceremony time. You can opt to extend until 11pm at $300 per 30min. Guests are allowed access to our venue 15 minutes prior to your start time, as there may be another ceremony beforehand. 3. Cancellations If cancellation occurs, the following conditions apply: • The booking fee is non-refundable or transferable Escape The City • Cancellations must be submitted in writing. • 50% of the total cost is due three months prior to the date of your function. This is a non-refundable amount. Any cancellations under 90 days of the function will be required to pay 50% of the expected revenue costs, and a debt will be incurred by all signed parties. • Final payment is required 21 days before the function date and is non- refundable. • Cancellations due to coronavirus restrictions: deposit of $2,500 (for Ceremony + Reception packages) or $950 (for Ceremony only and Elopement packages) is non-refundable. Postponing the wedding to another date will incur no charges. 4. Force Majeure Bundaleer will not be liable for any failure, default or delay caused by an event such as acts of God, fire, flood, storm or threats/acts of violence or coronavirus that occur beyond the reasonable control of Bundaleer. Bundaleer is not responsible for any additional costs incurred or for consequential loss of any nature. The Bundaleer Experience 5. Minimum and Maximum Numbers Minimum numbers apply for all packages, except the intimate packages. • Minimum full paying adult numbers for all months except September/ October is 50. • Minimum full paying adult numbers for September/October on a Saturday night is 75. Please be aware you will still be charged for the minimum numbers even if you do not have the amount of guests to reach this. 032
ESC APE THE CITY 6. Children and Minors All children must be strictly supervised and remain with parents or guardians at all times during the function. No liability will be taken with regards to the pool, creek or pond at Bundaleer. Children must be supervised at all times around this. 7. Payment and Final Numbers Final payment is required 21 days prior to the function in addition to Escape The City final numbers and menu selection. This will be the minimum number charged to your account. Payment can be made by cheque, cash, direct credit or by credit card. (please note a 2% surcharge will apply to all credit card transactions). 8. Surcharges Functions on a public holiday will attract a surcharge. 9. Insurance/Damages The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage inflicted on the venue or equipment during the period of hire. All breakages must be paid for. Wax spills causing damage and special cleaning fees will be at an additional cost to the client. Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens is careful when looking after its guests and their belongings however, we cannot accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any property of the hirer or the hirer’s guests during The Bundaleer the period of the hire. Experience 10. Price and Menus The management reserves the right to vary menus and pricing from the original quote. If a booking fee of $2,500 (for Ceremony + Reception packages) or $950 (for Ceremony only and Elopement packages) has been paid, pricing will not vary. Children under 12 years are half price after minimum numbers are achieved. 033
ESC APE THE CITY 11. Music Bundaleer can provide an in-house DJ or you are welcome to source your own DJ or band. Note, Bundaleer does not have a sound system in either venue. Pack up time for musicians is 30 minutes after your function finish time. They may need to finish earlier to accommodate this. Amplified music outside the rooms or in the grounds is not permitted, and music must not exceed 90db. Escape The City 12. Smoking Smoking is strictly prohibited in all buildings and function areas and is only allowed in the designated areas. 13. Conduct at an Event/Noise Restrictions A wedding at Bundaleer is not permitted to commence before 8am or finish later than 11pm. All music and amplified sound must stop by 11pm. The bar will close 10 minutes prior to your finish time. You agree to begin your event at the scheduled time and agree to have all guests, invitees and other persons vacate Bundaleer at your scheduled finish time. You and your guests must conduct yourselves in an orderly manner and in full compliance with applicable laws. You must ensure no disturbances or nuisances will be caused to any guests, visitors or neighbours of Bundaleer. 14. Decorating We have an in-house stylist or you can use your own for any additional The Bundaleer decorating items/centrepieces you may wish to have. In the event that Experience you have decided to decorate yourself, you will be given access to the venue at 11am the day of your wedding for a two hour period only. Our staff will need access to the room at 1pm to set the tables so all decorating must be completed by this time. Due to health and safety regulations , adders may only be used by a licenced decorator. 15. Rehearsal If you wish to have a rehearsal prior to your wedding day, this will need to be scheduled with our events manager. Please note rehearsals are for your celebrant and bridal party only, for no longer than one hour. 034
