Welcome to Νεptune hotels Our Commitment to Your Safe & Comfortable Stay The hotel has appointed the Quality manager to oversee and ensure day to day implementa- tion of compliance with the health protocol, in cooperation with the hotel’s Management and heads of the departments. Upgraded cleaning and disinfection services with a specific protocol for each hotel area and department using disinfectants certified to combat coronavirus, in cooperation with interna- tional companies. Identification of “high-touch points” in each area and use of extra disinfection throughout the day. Our goal is to ensure effective prevention of and response to Covid-19 by protecting the health of our guests and our staff while minimising environmental impacts. All indoor common areas and rooms are aired out daily. Cooperation with accredited laboratory for detailed physico-chemical and microbiological testing of foods, water, swimming pools, seawater, wastewater treatment, for Legionella, and to verify effective disinfection of surfaces in indoor areas. Samples will be taken regularly from critical points (door handles, handrails, elevator buttons, surfaces, etc.) to verify that the cleaning protocol is being followed. Signs list rules of operation in each area with all hygiene and protective measures, as well as maintaining the required distance of 1.5 metres. Floor markings have been placed in all facilities that the protocol requires and indicate the required distance of 1.5 metres. Any developments or new information are monitored and adapted accordingly to the hotel’s health protocol. Doctor on call. Hand sanitizers have been placed in all our facilities and its use is mandatory when entering or exiting them. PERSONNEL Trained personnel in all departments in personal hygiene, compliance with measures to prevent transmission of the coronavirus and respective departmental rules based on the National Health Protocol and guidelines issued by the WHO, ECDC, CDC, etc. Mandatory use of personal protection equipment (gloves, masks, disposable aprons) and maintain the required distance of 1.5 metres. Reception check-in time check-out will be will be after 15:00 no later than 11:00 Entry through automatic doors for contactless access to reception area. Availability of hand sanitizer for mandatory use before entering; staff monitors use. Reception configured with floor markings to help guests maintain the required distance of 1.5 metres. Use of tablets for faster service at check-in; device is disinfected after every use. Placement of protective plexiglass screen between staff and guests being served. A Kit with special medical equipment, as specified by the Hellenic Public Health Organisation (EODY) in the event of a case, will be available at Reception. Disinfection of guest luggage with steam cleaner or suitable certified disinfectant spray. Room keycards are disinfected and given to guests in individual envelopes with useful information we have prepared about our hotel and Covid-19. Fast check-in for vulnerable groups. CLEANING OF COMMON AREAS v Upgraded cleaning and disinfection protocol for all common areas with certified products and specialised cleaning equipment from internationally recognised companies. v Use of certified hygiene equipment for each common area; reusable items washed at 60°C after each use. v Use of steam cleaner or certified disinfectant on high-touch points for more frequent disinfection throughout the day (door handles, lift buttons, stairway handrails, chairs, sofas, handles, etc.). v Regular and more thorough cleaning of common area restrooms every half an hour with additional cleaning and disinfection at peak hours. ROOM CLEANING The already high level of cleaning that takes place after guest departure is enhanced by detailed cleaning and additional disinfection of all surfaces and high-touch points in the room, such as curtains, fabrics, furniture, light fixtures, switches, hangers, handles, chairs, etc. Use of steam cleaner for disinfection after guest departure. Each room is cleaned with a separate set of cloths and sponges, which are taken in separate bags to be washed, at over 60°C after each use. Specific rules have been applied regarding handling waste, used linens, recyclables, as well as clean linens, room preparation, transfer and handling in laundry area to prevent cross-contamination and to protect staff and guests. Limited frequency of room cleaning, to be conducted additionally at the guest’s request. DELIVERY-STORAGE v Strict adherence to food health & safety procedures and application of system (ISO 22000:2005 food safety and ISO 9001:2015) with additional protective measures as needed and practices to prevent contamination of foods by the coronavirus. All suppliers are informed about practices and protective measures implemented by our hotel when receiving products and requiring compliance by vendor company staff while transporting and delivering their products. Enhanced pest control measures at product receiving entrances to prevent unwanted organisms which could constitute coronavirus hosts. Entry by unauthorised persons is strictly prohibited and areas will be closed after each delivery unloading. Mandatory use of available hands antiseptic by staff and suppliers before unloading products and after each transport/storage of each different category of products. Use of steam cleaner to disinfect packaging upon receipt. Upgraded hygiene practices for spaces with disinfection of trolleys and all products’ unloading/ transport equipment daily, after each use. KITCHENS v Entry by suppliers, personnel from other departments or cooperating crews is strictly prohibited. If deemed necessary, a visitor form must be filled out, all protective measures are mandatory (gloves, mask, head covers, disposable gowns, shoe covers), as well as hand disinfection before entering. Designated tasks must be completed in their respective areas. Special sinks in each kitchen section for hand-washing, with all required equipment and extra hand antiseptic for intermediate hand disinfection and when staff is entering the kitchen areas. Upgraded cleaning and disinfection program for each space and piece of kitchen equipment, with increased frequency of disinfection of high-touch points and utensils; UV disinfection of knives. All dishwashers for utensils, plates, glasses, etc. adjusted to wash at a temperature of over 60°C, with the final rinse at 80°C. RESTAURANTS & BARS v Stricter adherence to management procedures and application of system (ISO 22000:2005 food safety and ISO 9001:2015). v Maximum number of guests entering the restaurants or bars for service will be in accordance with the current health protocol. v Use of available hand sanitizer is mandatory before entering and will be monitored by staff. v Menus will be available in electronic form (with a QR code) and they will be disinfected after each use. v Upgraded cleaning and disinfection protocol for equipment and spaces. Minimum distance between tables according to their arrangement and specific area (outdoor/semi- outdoor) is from 0.70 metres to 1.80 metres, in accordance with the current health protocol. v Disposable placemats used at tables instead of tablecloths and seats-tables will be disinfected after each use. main restaurant The breakfast and dinner buffet remains in the main restaurant. Service at the buffet will be provided only by food service staff equipped with personal protection equipment (mask and gloves) and observing all necessary protective and distancing measures to prevent guest contact with food and utensils at the buffet. POOLS - BEACH All outdoor pools and the beach will function normally. Signs list rules of use at each pool with all hygiene and protective measures, as well as maintaining the required distance of 1.5 metres. In accordance with the current health protocol a maximum number of people permitted to use the pool at one time has been established for each pool, as well as a maximum number of people entering the beach. Minimum distance between umbrellas is 4 metres. The procedure for using the pool has been revised, with mandatory showering before and after use, and the use of antiseptics when entering pool area. Cleaning and disinfection protocol for pool water has been upgraded in accordance with the new health protocol. Automatic dosing systems monitor pool disinfection and recording of water quality indicators levels. A daily control procedure is in use throughout the day by specially trained members of the maintenance department, who intervene immediately in the event quality levels are not within the required limits. Upgraded cleaning protocol of facilities, such as restrooms and equipment; tables, chairs and sunbeds are disinfected after each change of user. Policy in place allowing guests to exchange the beach towels they are given upon arrival throughout the day at the towel service. In cooperation with an outside accredited laboratory, monthly lab chemical & microbiological analysis is performed. Sport Facilities v Cleaning and disinfection protocol for restroom facilities has been revised. v Signs list rules of use and all hygiene and protective measures, as well as maintaining the required distance of 1.5 metres. v Maximum number of guests entering the facility for service will be in accordance with the current health protocol. v Mandatory use of available hand sanitizer when entering and exiting the facility. FITNESS CENTRE v Placement of protective plexiglass at reception area. v Users will be admitted by prior arrangement only and personal information will be noted, as required by the health protocol. v Exercise equipment placed 2 metres apart. v Hotel staff cleans and disinfects equipment after each use. v The changing rooms, sauna and Jacuzzi will not be used based on the health protocol. v Staff will provide bottled water and a towel to each guest free of charge. OUTDOOR SPORTS AREAS v Maximum number of people allowed to enter at one time will be in accordance with the current health protocol. v Upgraded cleaning and disinfection protocol for facilities and equipment. v Cleaning and disinfection of equipment after each use. v Tennis, Badminton: Maximum number of participants per course, in accordance with the current health protocol. v Tennis: Visitors will be admitted by prior arrangement only and personal information will be noted, as required by the health protocol. v Bike Station: Bicycles and other equipment cleaned and disinfected after each use. SPA v Maximum number of guests entering the spa area for service will be in accordance with the current health protocol. v Customers will be served by appointment only. v Placement of protective plexiglass at spa reception area. v Physical distancing and floor markings at Reception. v The indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, hammam and steam room will not be in use based on the health protocol. v Customers may not bring personal items with them. v Entry by unauthorised persons is prohibited. v Staff will provide the following services: manicure, pedicure, facials, body treatments, massage, hairdressing. v Deep disinfection of spaces after each service for 30 minutes with steam cleaner. v Upgraded cleaning and disinfection procedures for restroom facilities. v Masks are required in spa areas. 12 H E A LT H & S A F E T Y P R O T O C O L 2 0 2 0 / co v i d 19
NEPPI LAND v Based on the national health protocol, indoor areas will not be in operation. This will not affect the operation of the NEPPI LAND outdoor areas. v Signs list rules of use and all hygiene and protective measures, as well as maintaining the required distance of 1.5 metres. v Use of outdoor facilities limited to a maximum number of children, in accordance with the current health protocol. v Sanitizer available for hand disinfection. v Upgraded cleaning and disinfection protocol for outdoor areas. v Staff trained in compliance with respective practices in the protocol and in applying all required protective measures. v Staff will monitor observance of safe distancing amongst the children. v Use of personal protection equipment by staff (gloves, mask). v Any children’s activity involving physical contact, such as face-painting or similar activities, is prohibited. v Entry by unauthorised persons is prohibited. RETAIL STORES v Maximum number of visitors entering the stores for service will be in accordance with the current health protocol. v Signs list rules of use with all hygiene and protective measures, as well as requirement to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres. v Floor markings indicate distances. v Compliance with cleaning and disinfection protocol for facilities. v Hand sanitizer available for use when entering and exiting. v Use of personal protection equipment (gloves, masks) by staff; recommended for customers.
