EBH Namibia provides the international shipping and
local industry with a full house capacity in all aspects of
ship repair.
We specialize in Marine and Industrial engineering and
operate three privately owned floating dry docks with a
combined lifting capacity of 8,500, 6,500 & 15,000
(Panamax) tons respectively in Walvis Bay.
Our world‐class facilities hosts well equipped
workshops, a stable workforce and commendable safety

EBH Namibia’s long‐term goal is to ensure sustainable organic growth whilst generating more value to all
stakeholders involved of which very importantly are their shareholders. The National Ports Authority of Namibia
(‘NAMPORT’) remains the key shareholder (52.5%) of EBH Namibia. The DCD Group of Companies acquired the
balance of 47.5% of shares in 2012. The acquisition has repositioned EBH Namibia to be a full‐service provider with
world class marine repair facilities and service acumen.

Common User Facilities, alongside repairs & pier
• Syncrolift can lift vessels up to 2,000t – displacement 80m in length overall, 12m in width.
• Syncrolift Piers: ‐ 2 x 100m & 2 x 85m at max. draught of 7.5m
• The yard is using the outer side of the two floating docks to carry out alongside repairs. Vessels are serviced
with the dock cranes.
• The 42 m concrete jetty allows two medium ships vessels to be moored astern for alongside repairs at a
draught of 9 m with gangway access to the stern or from the wing wall of the dock.
• EBH has land access to the floating docks with an 18m ramp. Ramp load capacity is 55t.
