                                                 Born in Mexico City in 1967, Rafael Lozano-
                                                 Hemmer is one of the most prominent

                                                 today. He is well known for his large-scale
                                                 participatory technological installations,
                                                 which frequently use light projections and
                                                 the architecture of public sites. The
                                                 exhibition brings together 20 or so works
                                                 from the past decade that revolve around
                                                 the notion of co-presence.

State of the World presents a selection of
works from the collection that, each in their
own way, offer thoughts on the state of the
world, its institutions, the economy and
