How to Register
• Parents may enrol their children via the DSC Easter Program Online Registration Form
• Programs are subject to run based on enrollment numbers; parents will be informed via email in
cases where programs are cancelled due to low enrollment, inclement weather or teacher absence
• External Providers will send full terms and conditions to parents
• Payments for all courses will be made directly with the External Provider

Arrival & Dismissal
• All courses take place at DSC International School, 5-7 Tai Fung Avenue, Taikoo Shing
• The DSC main entrance is the designated arrival and dismissal point
• Service Providers will pick up students outside the main entrance; Service Providers will escort
primary students to the main lobby for pick up at the conclusion of programs
• Parents and caregivers are not permitted on site with the exception of parents invited to
special performances
• Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before programmes are scheduled to commence and conclude
• All students in Grade 1-3 must be picked up by a guardian; please inform external providers if
your Grade 4- 6 child will not require pick up by a parent or guardian

Health & Safety
• Masks are optional; if staff and students are not feeling well it is suggested they remain at home
• Parents must record their child’s daily temperature via the student health form
• Please provide your child with a labeled water bottle each day
• A member of the Health Team is on duty Monday to Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm
• In the event of an emergency, your child will be transported to the nearest hospital, Pamela Youde
Nethersole Eastern Hospital, parents will be notifiied via phone

Video Game Design with Phaser
Start programming games like a professional with this course. Using the popular desktop and
mobile gaming framework, PhaserJS, students will learn how to create a platformer game, a
side-scroller game and mini-games. By engaging their creativity and design thinking skills, they will
create, customize and enhance their games by adding their own set of characters, environments,
gravity and world physics. Using Design Thinking methodology, students will gather feedback from
classmates and iterate to improve their games.
Build your Tech Startup
For aspiring technologists, this start-up course teaches students about cuttinge dge
technologies to help them innovate a fresh new tech startup idea. Starting with fundamentals of
technology, students will learn how programming works using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Fol-
lowing this, students will identify a real-world problem that they would like to solve. Through design
thinking activities and their newly acquired coding skills, they will design and prototype a working
tech solution. Working independently or in small teams, students will then develop a business plan,
company brand, and digital online presence. At the end of the course, students will have created a
tech prototype, a business plan presented as a website and a business blog.

Wondering how the voices and sounds are created for animated movie characters? Many stu-
dents have seen animations from Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks before, but few can claim to
have made their own voices and sounds for them. In this Easter camp, students will learn to
bring comedic animated characters to life using their own voices and sounds. They will create
new versions of an animated movie scene using their voices and sound effects; learn how to re-
cord and edit voice performances and sound effects; understand how filmmakers use voices and
sounds to create comedic moments; feel entertained by hearing their own voices and sounds in
a professional movie.

Kung Fu Camp!
Kung Fu is a martial art that began in China 5,000 years ago. Heng Yue Yen Long Kwon is a modern
Chinese Martial Art, which involves the scientific use of the body system. With the spirit and skills,
students are trained to be proactive and unflinching when facing challenges. All of the movements
and techniques are simple, feasible and practical in actual combat. Training focuses on the impor-
tant factors, which contribute to the scientific use of force – speed, agility, balance, flexibility, accu-
rate timing and target focus.

Multi Activity Level 2 (Ages 9-12) - Extreme Sports Science (ESS)
This dynamic combination of Science Adventures and RoboCode will not only make students understand
important science concepts (motion and force), but also develop logical thinking and basic coding skill-
sets. In this exciting Extreme Sports Camp, students will explore both the physical and the digital world
of sciences. They will build cool dragsters, throw magnetic darts, hurtle parachutes through the air and
learn about gravity. These budding physicists will build different kinds of simple machines and learn how
they work. At the same time and consistent to the ESS theme, students will create two video games
relating to Sports – one using darts and another shooting basketball. Students will have a blast in this
ESS Camp!
