Saturday, April 20 The focus of the renovation activities has been on the installation 8:00 PM The People of the Parish of the infrastructure to support the numerous systems inside the Sunday, April 21 building which were inefficient and obsolete. That work continues and there has been a great degree of progress to report, the 7:30 AM The People of the Parish following are a few highlights. 8:45 AM The People of the Parish 10:00 AM The People of the Parish • EverSource, the electrical utility company, completed the 11:30 AM The People of the Parish installation of a large power transformer that now provides permanent power to the building. The power is distributed to Monday, April 22 the building electrical circuit panels. 9:00 AM Lindy Remigino Bill Mongovan • More than a mile of electrical conduits and wiring. Tuesday, April 23 • The temporary power line that spans from the Rectory over 9:00 AM George Higgins Mary and Michael Moore to the outside of the church building can now be removed. Wednesday, April 23 • New high efficiency LED light fixtures have been installed in 9:00 AM Philip & Stella Nofi Phil Gallo the ceiling. Thursday, April 24 • Over 7000 square feet of sheetrock is being installed on the ceiling and walls in the Nave and Narthex. 9:00 AM Blanche Burkhadrt Rick and Cathy Burkhardt • The new energy efficient Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning Friday, April 25 system ductwork is completed; the large cooling units are 9:00 AM Cheryl Eldh Mary and Michael Moore located on the roof in the rear of the building are installed and Saturday, April 26 work continues to make them operational. A new boiler and oil storage tanks are installed in the heating equipment room. 9:00 AM Raymond Scannell Maryann and Gordon Loh 4:30 PM The People of the Parish • A large wood platform which serves as a base for the Sanctuary floor marble is completed. Sunday, April 27 7:30 AM John Sullivan Bill and Mary Genco • New roofing material has been installed on the rear of the 8:45 AM Patricia O'Malley Gesualdi Family building. 10:00 AM Timothy Casey-Bowen Rachel and Peter Rand • The main entrance and the pediment above has been enclosed 11:30 AM Irmgard Ruppel Rosey Costello with plywood to protect the finish work being performed 5:15 PM Kevin Cassidy Joan Steck inside. • The new stained glass windows are in the final stage of WE WELCOME THE NEWLY BAPTIZED manufacturing. Rohlf Studios, located in Mount Vernon NY is Julian Abraham & Milo Alexander Ghelman producing the windows. Rohlf Studios was contracted by the Archdiocese of New York to restore all the stained glass in St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC several years ago. We continue with “Mary in History”, “Mary and the Catechism of the Catholic Church”, “Appearances of Mary and her Messages”, Titles of Mary, Statues and Depictions”, “Mary and the Mysteries of the Rosary”, “Mary and Some Mystics: Private Revelations”; “Mary and You”.
