Dear Contributor, Over the last month, whispers of DreamTeam in the esports community have begun to get louder, our reach a little further, and our organic traffic and conversion rate is now higher than ever. With the improvements to DreamTeam Practice Games and new features added to the Analytics tool, DreamTeam is better than ever. In February, DreamTeam began development of the Journey Map and Notification Center features, made huge strides toward finishing the Coaching Tool MVP, published our Tokenomics paper, got listed on Liquid, and added a long list of feature updates and tweaks. Let's take an in-depth look at what’s new with DreamTeam and what can be expected in March.
PLATFORM FEATURES As time goes on and we speak to more and more gamers, we gain a deeper understanding of what each individual gamer needs and how to adjust the DreamTeam features. Our goal is to always provide the best possible service no matter what a gamer’s goal is: to have fun, to play competitively, or become a pro. Most recently, we have added FACEIT statistics. Not only can Players link their FACEIT accounts and verify their FACEIT level, but Team Owners can now also search for Players by using the Players’ FACEIT statistics. By adding this feature, Teams and other Players can rest assured that the Players on the platform have the skills that they say they do. This will help minimize unmet expectations and help Teams find appropriate Players. DreamTeam knows that FACEIT is a popular tournament platform and that Players around the world have come to rely on its ranking and statistic systems. DreamTeam is working closely with FACEIT to make finding Players and building Teams for FACEIT tournaments as seamless as possible. This puts DreamTeam one step closer to its goal of uniting esports. Direct Invites are a cool new way to staff a Team, even if a Player doesn’t currently have an account on the platform. Each Team will now have a personal Direct Invite link that they can share anywhere. The link leads the Player to the registration page, if the Player doesn’t already have a DreamTeam account of course, then directly to the Team’s Profile where the Player can join the Team. By having this capability, Team Owners are no longer restricted to finding Players who are on the platform. The can now search for Players on Discord, Twitch, Facebook, or any other place that a link can be pasted. Direct Invites will help increase the number of platform users and make it easier for current users to spread the word about DreamTeam.
As you may remember, Chat 2.0 was released in January. Chat 2.0 gave DreamTeam complete control over the Chat feature, allowing for the creation of the DreamTeam communication hub. In February, DreamTeam began working on Private Group Chats and DreamTeam Group Chats. Private Group Chats allow users to create a chat, add their friends and fellow gamers, and discuss anything they want. DreamTeam Group Chats are a bit different as they are open for any user to join. The DreamTeam Group Chats will be centered around different topics, languages, locations, etc. and provide users with an opportunity to meet other users. We can expect an increase in community communication, which will provide another outlet for Players and Teams find each other. The development of the DreamTeam Notification Center began in February. The Notification Center will keep users updated with everything happening on the platform: from Team and Player activity to Practice Game information to Game Analytics additions. Users will finally have all of their information conveniently stored in one easy-to-access location. In March, the Platform Team will release Private Group Chats, DreamTeam Chats, the Notification Center, and prepare the CS:GO Tactics & Map analysis scope. By the end of March, users will be able to use the DreamTeam Chat feature to keep up with everything happening in the CS:GO and LoL communities and rest easy, knowing that the Notification Center has kept them up to date with everything on the platform. The release of the Journey Map, a new DreamTeam feature, will also take place in March. Think of the Journey Map as a list of achievements that will help DreamTeam users go from beginner to novice to professional esports players. The Journey Map will provide a path with different objectives that should be met in order to continue on the path. As the Journey Map is currently in development, we will provide more information in the next update. In addition to the Journey Map, the newly reworked navigation and the development of the Discord chat integration will also take place in March.
GAME FEATURES The Games team continues to work on the Practice Games and Analytics features. In February, the list of available Practice Games maps was extended. Special smaller maps have been added to the 2vs2 game format. Along with having the choice of additional maps, Practice Game creators can now edit and extend the start of their open Practice Games. The integration of Practice Games into the Analytics feature has started. This means that every Practice Game played on DreamTeam servers will be automatically uploaded and analyzed by the Analytics feature. This is the perfect opportunity for Teams to practice together and then get an in-depth look at what they do well and what needs to be worked on in future Practice Games. In March, the Games team will: • Release the integration of Practice Games with the Analytics feature • Implement and release the functionality to directly invite other Teams to Practice Games • Start the implementation of Practice Games within a team
BLOCKCHAIN AND PAYMENTS The most notable update by the Blockchain and Payments team is the release of the DreamTeam Tokenomics paper and the listing of the DreamTeam Token on Liquid. The DreamTeam Tokenomic document outlines the economics of the DreamTeam Token (DREAM). DREAM is a cryptocurrency issued by DreamTeam, a utility token which is primarily used to drive all DreamTeam services and create an entire decentralized economy for esports. DreamTeam tokens are involved both directly or indirectly in every transaction settled on the DreamTeam platform. If a user pays for a service in fiat currency, DreamTeam will use that fiat currency to buy DREAM tokens from an exchange and pay for the service with DREAM on the backend. This will ensure that the DREAM token volume remains high. Buying subscriptions and services directly with DREAM tokens will always result in a lower price. To read more about the DREAM token, DreamTeam’s gamification and rewards system, and much more, be sure to read the DreamTeam Tokenomics paper here. GAME ANALYTICS February brought the release of Game Analytics v1.2. The DreamTeam Analytics feature now has distance charts to help CS:GO Players understand at which distances they should engage an opponent in order to remain accurate. Heatmaps were also added to Game Analytics with the v1.2 update. Heatmaps give CS:GO Players a visual representation of specific actions that happen with all Players across the map. Players can use these heatmaps to build better tactics and learn from their mistakes. The Game Analytics team has also completed the PoC for the Game Analytics Replay Viewer and started the Replay Viewer development to be ready and released with the Analytics v2.0 update. The PoC for the Player Analytics Dashboard is also in progress. This will allow users of the Analytics tool to view, organize, and track their game analytics progress, further pushing Players to not only use the Analytics tool but to improve their skills. In March, the Game Analytics team plans to: • Finish a major part of the Game Analytics 2.0 Replay Viewer development • Finish the PoC for the Player Analytics Dashboard 1.0 • Start the Player Analytics Dashboard MVP development • Prepare the scope of development for the Team Analytics Dashboard 1.0
MODULES February has been a busy month for the Modules team. The DreamTeam Coaching tool is nearing completion and almost ready to be released. Let's recap what the Coaching tool is: the Coaching Tool was designed to help set goals, improve skills, track achievements, and organize Teams. A Team Owner will assign a Coaching role to one of the Players. The Coach can then select and assign pre-loaded “goal cards”. Each pre-loaded “goal card” contains certain goals and textual and/or video content on how to reach that specific goal. Once the goal has been reached, the Coach can rate the level of success the Player achieved while reaching that goal. Since we last described the Coaching tool, the Modules Team has finished the Coaching Notification Center, and Player Profile stats for Coaching have been added. The Coaching tool has been prepared for release and the autotests have been completed. In March, the Module team plans to: • Release the Coaching Tool v1.0 • Have the Coaching Tool landing page completed • Start the Player Analytics Dashboard MVP development

MARKETING-DEVELOPMENT As new staffing flows were introduced and features were updated, the Marketing and Development team has updated the transaction emails and push notifications associated with those changes. This is currently the primary way of letting a user know something has happened on the platform. However, we are excited to say that this will change with the future release of the DreamTeam Notification Center and Discord notification integration. The Notification Center is currently in development, and we have already begun researching different solutions to integrate sending transaction notifications through Discord. The Marketing and Development team has also moved the DreamTeam blog from a cloud solution to internal, completed various SEO updates, finished postback tracking for Game Analytics, and released Token Site v3.0. In March, the Marketing and Development team plans to: • Continue updating push notification and transaction emails based on platform updates • Provide CRON functionality in order to set rules for sending emails from the new Notification Center • Create multi-language functionality for SEO texts, microformat for the site, and a section of SEO articles on dreamteam.gg • Begin researching solutions to integrate sending transaction notifications through Steam
ARCHITECTURE The Architecture team continues to focus on releasing features according to our roadmap. The team has recently found and proved a solution for the Game Analytics Replay Viewer, allowing development to stay on track and be released according to the roadmap. The team also proved solutions for Game Analytics Player Dashboard Notification Center, FACEIT integration, and Direct Invites, enabling development to move forward. The process of releases has also been adjusted. The release of major features will happen on a biweekly basis. The delivering of code under feature toggles will continue on an as-early-as-possible basis. This will result in a higher pace of development. The Architecture team has also chosen, and started introducing, a new tool for UI functional test automation. This greatly reduces the time needed for manual testing, resulting in quicker releases as well as making identifying and fixing bugs much faster. In order to improve performance, have greater flexibility, and enable cost-cutting capabilities, we migrated to a new infrastructure cluster on Amazon AWS. In March, the Architecture team plans to proceed with Player Dashboards PoC and designs: ratings, trends, widgets, Premium, and the integration into the entire DreamTeam solution, in terms of both a business and technical point of view. For example, DreamTeam will improve how the Coaching Tool works by integrating the Coaching and Player metrics with monitoring the progress of setting goals. In March, the Marketing and Development team plans to: • Find a possible solution for the CS:GO tactics architecture • Look into the CS:GO Team Dashboard tech design • Work on UI functional automation • Create a method to split large Player Dashboards into pieces for different teams • Plan PI-5
