Enjoy the view If you’re keen to visit a lighthouse then add Cape Leeuwin lighthouse to your list. It’s special for more than one reason. Not only is it situated on the most south-westerly point of Australia, it’s also the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia and is located at the point where the Indian Ocean meets the Southern Ocean. “ In a relatively short space of time, Margaret River has grown to become a powerhouse of Australian wine. The first commercial vineyard planting was in 1967, and the region’s strength lies in its quality.
