Help us make the
 Riverside Fun Day a
 ZERO WASTE event!
This year we’re asking organisations to
‘think outside the box’ and come up with
fun and engaging environmentally friendly
activities that use recycled products, can be
recycled and don’t produce plastic waste.

ACTIVITY IDEAS
Stenciled Tote Bags
All you need is some acrylic paint, cotton tote
bags, paint brushes or sponges, pre-made paper
or cardboard stencils and pieces of cardboard to
fit inside each bag when painting (as to not stain
the other side of the bag). Participants can
also free paint on the bags!

Sand Art
A table, paper and coloured sand. That’s it!
Simply supply some paper, various colours of
sand, some PVA glue and watch great art happen.
Rainbow sand glass/plastic bottle decorations Carnival Can Toss

is poured into a bottle in layers. Participants All you need is some cans, rubber balls or tennis balls,
