Our Heritage • Driscoll Children’s Hospital was born out of love and compassion of Clara Driscoll, the granddaughter of a Texas patriot. Clara requested that her estate be used to build and operate a hospital for the children of South Texas. • Clara was fluent in four languages, a businesswoman, philanthropist, and author. As a historic preservationist, Clara provided the funds to save the Alamo. • Founded on Clara Driscoll’s love for children, Driscoll is dedicated to providing the highest level quality care to all children, with respect and dignity and through a dedicated, compassionate healthcare team. 7

Patient Satisfaction • Driscoll is above the 75th percentile nationally for Patient Satisfaction. • Patient experience is top priority for Driscoll Health System. We partner with real-time feedback by NRC Health for after service outreach calls to all patients to improve the patient experience. 12
Quality & Patient Safety • Driscoll’s approach to performance improvement and patient safety is continually assessed to ensure that quality outcomes are obtained. • Driscoll has organizational wide processes in place designed to manage safety risks in the workplace. Join our Driscoll Pediatric Team! Driscoll Children’s Hospital Rio Grande Valley • Driscoll plans to employ 450+ employees when the hospital opens. • DHR Health Pediatric Staff will account for almost 200 of the 450+ positions. • Medical Units will include Medical/Surgical, NICU, PICU, Perianesthesia, Surgical Services and Emergency Services to name a few. • Ancillary and support services include Rehab (OT, PT, SLP, Audiology), Imaging, Pharmacy, Respiratory, Child Life, Phlebotomy, etc. 19

DHR Health Pediatric Employees who join Driscoll Compensation • Hire on with Driscoll: • Base Pay - your base rate will be the most favorable of the two following quoting methodologies • Your current DHR rate of pay; or • A new hire quote based on experience, education and certification • Driscoll’s Pay Plans • Shift Differentials • Call Pay/Call Return Pay • Holiday Differential • Weekend Plan (36 worked hours paid 40 hours) 21
DHR Health Pediatric Employees who join Driscoll Compensation • Shift Differentials * • Evening shift: 10% • Night shift: 20% • Weekend shift: 15% • Weekend/evening shift: 25% • Weekend/night shift: 35% • Holiday Pay: 50% *All differentials are calculated off of the base rate. Example: Base rate of $22.50 with a 10% evening diff would be an additional $2.25 per hour. 22
