DEVELOPMENT SERVICES BULLETIN
The Development Services Bulletin is issued every week. It contains details and

   estate to accommodate the proposed
   development , and the applicant has failed to
   provide adequate educational infrastructure
   commensurate with the scale of the proposed
   development nor to address deficiencies
   which would be a consequence of the
   development taking place.

2. The application is contrary to Policy SC9 –
   Developer Contributions, of the
   Clackmannanshire Local Development Plan,
   adopted 2015 in that the proposals would fail
   to mitigate the impacts of the proposed
   development on the education estate, nor
   adequately provide for the educational needs
   of residents of the proposed new
   development. There is insufficient capacity in
   the existing secondary educational estate to
   accommodate the proposed development ,
   and the applicant has failed to provide for
   adequate secondary educational
   infrastructure commensurate with the scale of
   the proposed development, nor to address
   deficiencies which would be a consequence
   of the development taking place.

3. The application is contrary to Policy SC9 –
   Developer Contributions, of the
   Clackmannanshire Local Development Plan,
   adopted 2015 in that the applicant’s
   proposals involve development of a minimum
   of 1000 houses on a site allocated for 774
   houses in the Local Development Plan. The
   number of houses proposed would

significantly exceed those envisaged by
                                      Proposal H16 of the Local Development Plan
                                      and do not make adequate provision of
                                      educational infrastructure in order to serve
                                      this number of houses.
