WELCOME Welcome to TABLE OF CONTENTS GeoConvention 2022 Schedule at a Glance Back Cover Dear GeoConvention Attendees, Exhibitor Listing 6 On behalf of the organizing committee, the GeoConvention Partnership Board and partner societies, welcome to GeoConvention 2022! We Exhibit Hall Floor Plan 7 would like to thank you for joining us, be it in person or virtually. After two years of virtual hosting, we are pleased that we are hosting this Tuesday Program 8 - 11 important event in person again. The global pandemic and subsequent global instability has accelerated Wednesday Program 12 - 15 looming cultural and environmental revolutions in which our geoscience community plays a critical role in shaping a new energy landscape. In-Person Poster Presentations 16 - 18 Lithium extraction to support increasing battery use, geothermal project development in remote communities, and carbon capture and sequestration to reduce emissions are just a few examples of how Virtual-Exclusive Presentations 18 - 19 sustainability is shaping the 2020s.
