Welcome to Dear Fans, Welcome to The Villages, Florida’s friendliest home town! On behalf of our community and administration at The Villages High School, we welcome all fans and every team to our tournament, The Battle@The Villages. As the Athletic Director of The Villages High School, I would like to thank all those involved in planning and organizing such a great tournament. The amount of hard work and preparation has been incredible. As we tip-off the 7th Annual Event, we’re excited about the interest level in being one of the most nationally known tournaments in the U.S. We are all very fortunate to be involved in a great supportive community. As we all know, this year has been a very challenging year, to say the least, in our communities and sports world. The COVID-19 pandemic reminds us that we must practice safe protocols and adhere to the local and state CDC Guidelines. To keep everyone safe in our gymnasium, we ask that all attendees please wear a mask and to stay socially distanced as much as possible. We hope you enjoy your stay, and if you have some free time, please visit any of our town squares. Sincerely, Richard Pettus Athletic Director | The Villages High School School of Excellence HOSPITALITY | HARD WORK | STEWARDSHIP | CREATIVITY Visit The Villages Charter School online at tvcs.org
