Pick up point for Old Leake – for our Day Trips and Holidays will remain unchanged picking up at Church End Old
Leake opposite the Bus Shelter near the Church this stop has been moved for the safety of all it will also drop off at the
Bus Shelter near the Church
We will continue picking up in Butterwick Village at the Five Bells bus stop for all day tours and holidays and Boston Bus
Station at the coach drop off point near the Len Medlock Centre. If any passenger wishes to change their pick up point
for any day trip or holiday this must be done at least 24 hours before departure date. All changes must be via the office.
We also require any mobile phone numbers along with a land line number if available.
SCOOTERS
Due to the increased use of motorised scooters we would ask any passenger who wishes to take one on a trip to please
inform the office when booking. Please note due to health and safety restrictions the driver is not responsible for the
loading/unloading of any such scooter due to weight lifting restrictions.
Thursford Christmas Spectacular – Dates available end of January. A deposit of £10.00 per person will be required
at time of booking with the balance payable by 1st September 2020.
Gift vouchers available – £5.00, £10.00, £20.00 and can be used on any of our day trips or holidays,
valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

For all day tours, all bookings must be paid in full before day of departure. If any seat is not paid for within 4 weeks of
booking, we reserve the right to re-sell the seat without further notification to the passenger.
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit/debit card (credit/debit card minimum transaction £15.00).
Travel times – We provide pick up times according to normal traffic conditions and would like to ask all customers to
be understanding for any unforeseen circumstances that could occur outside of our control.
DAY EXCURSION CANCELLATIONS
Customers who wish to cancel day trips which include theatre/admission tickets will not be entitled to a refund where
tickets have already been purchased. Other day trips, refunds will be at the discretion of Dickinson Coaches.

BOOKING CONDITIONS AND INFORMATION
For all day tours all bookings must be paid in full before the day of departure. If any seat is not paid for within 4 weeks of
booking, we reserve the right to sell the seats without any further notification to the passenger. A booking reserves a place
on the coach but not a particular seat. Please note – tickets, entry fees and meals are extra to the coach fare unless stated
otherwise.
For all holidays a non-refundable deposit of £40.00 per person per holiday must accompany the booking.
D & J Dickinson Coaches no longer offer travel insurance for your holiday but it is a condition of booking that you are
adequately insured for any of our holidays. Prior to departure we will request that you provide to us details of your insurers,
your policy number and the emergency contact number as stated on your policy.
Since 1st January 2009, the sale of travel insurance connected to holidays or related travel has been regulated by the
Financial Conduct Authority.
As we no longer hold the necessary authorisation, we are unable to offer or advise on travel insurance related matters but
we are happy to provide a leaflet from our preferred insurance brokers, Towergate Chapman Stevens, which will give you
information on how to purchase travel insurance from them.
Towergate Chapman Stevens are Travel Insurance Specialists in the Coaching Industry.
The price stated for each tour is fully inclusive of bed/breakfast and evening meal unless otherwise stated, luxury coach
travel from our depot and excursions as stated. Entrance fees, mid-day-meals and meals on the outward and return journeys
are not included. Seat numbers will be issued upon receipt of your deposit. All prices are fully inclusive of VAT at the current
rate where applicable. In accordance with “The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992 to 2018” all passengers
booking with D&J Dickinson Coaches are fully insured for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all monies paid
to us, including repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the
insolvency of D&J Dickinson Coaches.
A certificate detailing this cover will be given to each and every passenger as evidence of cover.
Please ensure that you have been given the appropriate certificate(s) at the time of booking.
This insurance has been arranged by Towergate Chapman Stevens via Zurich Insurance Company PLC.
The balance of payment is due no later than eight weeks before date of departure. The Company reserves the right to cancel
the booking, after due notice to the passenger if the balance has not been paid by the date it is due. If the passenger cancels
the arrangements after booking is accepted they are liable to a charge for any costs incurred by The Company and are
charged at the following rates:

correct when going to print, but any tour may be cancelled or altered because of circumstances beyond our control.
