GREETINGS FROM THE MAYOR
On behalf of the City Council and residents of Richmond, I would like to extend sincere greetings to all
those taking part in the tenth annual Culture Days weekend, September 27 to 29, 2019.
Culture Days is a wonderful opportunity to explore the impressive talent and creativity that exists in
our own backyards. I encourage all Richmond residents and visitors to express their love of culture by
participating.
Get out and explore our amazing heritage sites, learn a new dance move, sing along with a choir, meet
local artists, tour some public art and roll up your sleeves to unleash your own creativity. Whether you are
attending one or more of the special activities listed in this program guide, or are one of the individuals
generously sharing their talents and passions, you are part of a vital and important national creative
movement.
