Crystallizing the Diamond® The program “Crystallizing the Diamond ” sets out to refine and enhance our personal practice of the technology, so that we may implement it with greater awareness and potency. In the training and in the daily practice there is not always enough time to acquire all the different facets of the technology with satisfactory depth and precision. Thus, we may not be in a position to make the most out of our practice. Each module of Crystallizing the Diamond specializes in one aspect of the technology and builds on the foundations given in the training. Each aspect will be fully presented and practiced with in-depth understanding and precision. Each module will demonstrate how the practice of the given facet of the technology is complete in itself, and when practiced correctly can facilitate a ‘state of yoga’ – merging the finite with the Infinite consciousness. Each module also places the given facet in the context of Kundalini Yoga kriyas. Thus it experientially demonstrates how the refined practice of any given aspect substantially enhances the effects of kriya. Further self-study between appointments will help the student to perfect and consolidate their acquisition of each aspect. By the end of this program, we will be in a position to implement contemporarily the various facets with increased awareness while practicing any Kundalini Yoga kriya. In this way, our personal practice (Sadhana) will become highly effective in crystallizing the Diamond of the Self to completion (Aradhana), enabling the Light of the Soul to shine forth as a beacon for all (Prabhupati). Crystallizing the Diamond® - The YOGA of PRANAYAMA To master our life and mind, we must first master our breath. Breath is the key to effective action and thought. It is the key to placing a creative seed in our heart, and having it bloom in our actions. Where there is movement there is prana. Anytime we move a thought, a feeling or our body successfully, we organize our prana to support that action. The pranic body, if aligned and charged properly, is the field of potential action that supports us and guarantees success. The Yoga of Pranayama explores the implications and mechanisms of breathing to contact our soul and awaken our awareness. Understanding, experiencing and mastering Pranayama, will lead us to hold a practical tool for living life to our fullest potential. This course covers topics such as: The Art of Breathing. Advanced Pranayama Kriyas; Yogic breath. Pranayama in specific Asanas. Nadis & Vayus; Anatomy & Physiology of Breath; Mystical aspects of Breath; Pranayama as a Tool for Postural Realignment and as an Antidote against Stress; The experience of Shunya. Deep Stillness for the Mastery of Breath and Pranayama; Pranayama and Different Stages of Consciousness; 2
Pranayama and the Rhythm of Life. This part is open to everybody. You don't have to be a kundalini yoga teacher to benefit from this course. Managing the units of the available prana. Create the conditions to evoke the correct human breathing. Pranayama to alter the states of consciousness. MODULE 2 Fri-Sun 23-25.11.2018 (Ram Rattan Singh, Milan, Italy) Anatomy and physiology of breathing. Correct use of the diaphragm. Application of specific kriyas in diseases. Advanced Kryas of Pranayama MODULE 3 Fri-Sun 22-24.2.2019 (Sara Avtar Kaur, Rome, Italy) Advanced yogic breathing. Pranayama in specific asanas. Nadi and Vayu involved in the act of breathing. Mystical aspects of the breath. Transition between life and death. MODULE 4 Fri-Sun 26-28.4.2019 (Sadhana Singh) Pranayama and the rhythm of life. Pranayama as an instrument of postural realignment and as antidote to stress. About the teachers Sadhana Singh (Lead Trainer) Sadhana Singh is a Kundalini Yoga Lead Trainer and author of several books. He both created and is responsible for the initiatives “Crystallizing the Diamond®”, “Kundalini Yoga Counselling®” and “Yoga Training for Leaders and Managers”, a course for people who lead companies and hold positions of responsibility. Together with his wife Puran Sukh Kaur, he founded the Waldzell Leadership Institute. 3
Sadhana Singh is committed to bring the mission of the yoga Master Harbhajan Singh Khalsa to the wider public, especially into the environment of education and business. Ever grateful to Yogi Bhajan, Sadhana Singh dedicates much of his time to counselling, using his in-depth experience of the teachings to guide and uplift others. Sara Avtar Kaur Avtar Kaur, born in UK, a gymnast, dancer, singer and trained actress discovered Kundalini Yoga when she was 19 and became a Kundalini Yoga Teacher shortly after. Her first taste of Kundalini Yoga was on Yogi Bhajan’s Birthday, 26th August 1987, joining the London sangat for the traditional birthday sadhana: chanting 2.5 hours of long “Ek Ong Kar”. Avtar’s life was immediately connected and permeated by the Teachings. Avtar is a Level 1 Lead Teacher Trainer and Level 2 Trainer and has taught modules in Italy, Spain, Finland and Germany. Meeting with Yogi Bhajan in 2001, Avtar presented to him her development of Shakti Dance, the ‘yoga of dance’ - based on Kundalini Yoga. This, Yogi Bhajan approved and blessed, saying she should “Create the whole dance, systemize it and spread the Teachings.” Since then, Avtar has continued to develop, teach and train teachers in Shakti Dance, spreading the discipline worldwide. Avtar has also released two of her own CDs with music for Shakti Dance and Kundalini Yoga: “Shakti Lila” and “Merging”, with more releases to come. As a teacher and trainer, Avtar is both worldly and etheric. She combines the intensity of her personal practice and life experience with a playful creative flow to sustain, align and elevate students through physical, mental and energetic realms. Avtar’s teaching facilitates students to liberate their Creative Spirit and connect with Source - that they may rest in nourishing Being, with expanded peaceful Presence. 4
Ram Rattan Singh, Milan, Italy Dr. Ram Rattan Singh is a medical doctor and a surgeon. He is also a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Teacher Trainer and a Yoga Therapist. In 1991, after 14 years of practice in numerous clinics and hospitals, he began studying Kundalini Yoga with his teacher , Yogi Bhajan for 7 years. His experience was so profound and powerful that in 1998, he decided to dedicate his life to Kundalini Yoga using it as a powerful tool to support normal medical practices. Dr. Ram Rattan teaches his life changing health programs, workshops and Kundalini Yoga Teacher Trainings all over Europe. In 2006, Dr. Ram Rattan created “the Yoga and Health Project” in order to help as many people as possible to have a healthy, happy and abundant life. He is also the author of the DVD "The Incredibly Curative Power of the Brain". He also has online programs available. 5
