NEWS&VIEWS FROM ROSEMARIE MASLIN Life in the UK is still very strange and, for me at the moment, difficult, but with positive thoughts we will all get through this. On a very personal note I would like to say thank you to everyone for all your kind words, cards and flowers sent for Peter. I really do appreciate everything and I know Peter would have been very pleased to be so well thought of. I am still trying to get back into ‘normal’ but it is taking time. I must admit I am, as I suspect most of you are as well, really longing for ‘normal’ to start again. Take care, keep safe and well and I really look forward to seeing you again at a Club event once they recommence. Peter Maslin. FEATURE drove the short distance to our hotel and the adventure had begun. It proved to be a fantastic and very well organised holiday. We were hooked. On our trip to Normandy we seemed to ‘click’ with Peter and Rosemarie and we soon became very good friends. We also booked to go on the following year’s Club rally organised by them, but this time, being more adventurous, as it was to be a tour of northern Spain. FEATURE unimaginable situation filled with ‘Grim Reaper’ daily Downing Street briefings. Whilst some households oddly stocked enough toilet roll to serve a large hotel with a dodgy buffet, a growing sector of society found itself in even more uncertainty than usual. Hence, by week ending March 28 the Government had ordered all local authorities and councils to place rough sleepers and the homeless into priority sheltered accommodation or hostels.
