The same applies to persons who have verifiably been infected or have been ill with SARS-CoV-2 (shown by positive PCR test) and have recovered fully. The positive PCR test is valid as proof from 28 days to 6 months after the test date. Only one dose of vaccination is required afterwards in order to be consid- ered fully vaccinated. This exception only applies if and insofar as the affected person does not show any symptoms indicating SARS-CoV-2 infection, and is always carrying proof of their vaccination status. This exception for vaccinated persons does not apply after having spent time in a virus variant area. 6
