We have one of the largest Conference facilities in the region that not only has many different facilities to suit every type of function needed, but also has the comfort of accommodation and a fantastic restaurant within the complex. The Emerald Hotel Conference Centre is designed as a one stop shop for all your conference and meeting requirements. We take away the difficulty of having to hire extra equipment like projectors, screens and microphones by having it all onsite. We are also able to offer the flexibility of having the floating wall system in our main conference area which enables us to configure to large and small groups. Best of all, The Emerald Hotel has fantastic friendly staff that strives with outstanding customer service. Both measuring 8 m x 10 m. Both rooms have recently been updated with projectors installed, which initiates a very high standard of picture on their screen. Turanganui Room The Turanganui Room is the centre of our main Conference area. It is the largest room of the three in the vicinity. It also has a recently updated projector installed with a high standard of visual projection going onto the projector screen. This room has the luxury of two Air Conditioners / Heaters. 5|Page
THE EMERALD BALLROOM The Emerald Ballroom is the total main conference area of the Taruheru, Turanganui and Waimata rooms combined with all the folding walls removed. This enlarged facility overlooking the pool area is fabulous for large functions such as corporates dinners, School balls, Weddings, Presentations, Seminars, Award ceremonies and Workshops. All three data projectors within the room can be combined and used all at same time. The Ballroom has a great audio system for the use of microphones for all guests to hear clearly. A dancefloor and stage is available to accommodate performances of dances. The Emerald Ballroom has a bar and buffet facility for all catering requirements. 6|Page
Other Conference Rooms within The Emerald Hotel: Number 9 Room This room is very exquisite with its beautiful wooden floors and decorative high ceilings. A very dainty room perfect for cocktail functions, ceremonies, small wedding or used as an exhibition room. Triveni It is very comfortable and welcoming with its warm, homely feeling. This room is recommended for workshops and interviews. This room does not have an inbuilt data projector system but a portable projector is available if a usual presentation received. 7|Page
The Board Room In a secret hide away there is our boardroom facility situated in a previous small business. This small meeting room is great for a meeting or interview for up to 8 people. 8|Page

TECHNICAL SERVICES & EQUIPMENT We have recently upgraded our conference system to Crestron’s incredible Iisys i/o TPMC – 10 Wi-Fi touch panel for accessing email, streaming multimedia and browsing the internet. TPMC – 10 delivers great sounding audio from its built-in high- powered tuned port speaker system. An integrated Microphone and Stereo Headphone output are also provided. If you have any special requirements needed for your event, please liaise with the events coordinator and they will be more than happy to help with achieving your result. CATERING Within the complex we have a delightful restaurant that is open from 7am-9.30am every day for breakfast and 6pm- 9pm (Mon – Sat). This restaurant seats around 100 people. ACCOMMODATION Executive spacious suites are what you will find within our complex at The Emerald Hotel. We have a range of different rooms that can mostly sleep up to four people with a few of the rooms having interconnecting facilities. Most of our Executive Suites have balconies that either look over our pool complex or the river which provides a nice relaxing atmosphere. The rooms have plenty of natural light and are elegantly appointed and very comfortable. All our 48 suites have an LCD flat screen TV, SKY TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, a min bar, air conditioning, an iron and ironing board, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities. 15 | P a g e
