Riverside Marine was founded in Brisbane in 1926 by Norman C Campbell, grandfather of Chairman Hume K Campbell. It is a 100% Australian owned and operated company. From its beginnings as a gravel barge operator using a converted government yacht, it has grown to become one of the leading marine companies in the country with a total of 49 vessels. Sand dredging, transport and processing Riverside Industrial Sands Riverside Industrial Sands produce a wide range of sand products that are sold to various manufacturers for inclusion in products such as adhesives, tile grouts and foundry production. Riverside Industrial Sands operates two dredges, John Oxley II and Riverside Resolute. In addition to its dredges, Riverside Industrial Sands have a fleet of trucks which includes pneumatic tankers and tippers which are capable of transporting varying quantities of bulk sand and other products around the country. 14

Harbour and terminal towage Rivtow Marine, Port Hedland WA Rivtow Marine provides towage services on behalf of BHP Billiton in Port Hedland. With a combination of 9 rotortugs, 6 RAstar and 2 ASD tugs, this fleet is the largest in any Australian port. Rivtow Marine provides a safe, flexible and efficient service to its customer in Port Hedland helping to ensure the largest bulk port in the world operates seamlessly on a 24/7 basis. 16

Harbour and terminal towage Rivtow Marine Queensland, Hay Point Rivtow Marine Queensland provides towage services on behalf of BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) at Hay Point, Queensland. The Port of Hay Point is one of the largest coal export ports in the world. Rivtow manages 2 ASD tugs along with a lines boat. Rivtow Marine Queensland provides world’s best practice towage services to BMA by delivering on its promise of safety, availability and efficiency. 18

Harbour and terminal towage RiverWijs Dampier RiverWijs Dampier operates in the Port of Dampier in Western Australia. RiverWijs Dampier secured the contract to provide towage services to the Withnell Bay LNG export facility in the Port of Dampier in 2001. This terminal is a Woodside owned facility operating on behalf of the North West Shelf Joint Venture Project and Partners. RiverWijs operates from the Withnell Bay terminal with four 65 ton bollard pull ASD tugs, which were purpose built for the LNG export operations. 20

Harbour and terminal towage Riverside Pilotage Riverside Pilotage Pty Ltd is an experienced pilot boat operator with operations in the Port of Dampier in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. Pilot boat operations support the North West Shelf Joint Venture servicing gas ships at the Withnell Bay LNG Terminal as well as vessels at the Dampier Cargo Wharf and Bulk Liquid Berth facilities. 22

vessel management AIMS (Australian Institute of Marine Science) Scientists carrying out world leading marine research off the coasts of Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia and Papua New Guinea are supported by the highly experienced team of Riverside Marine in Townsville. In managing research vessels on behalf of the Australian Institute of Marine Science and implementing a planned preventative maintenance program, the company is able to ensure the provision of a reliable service to the scientists carrying out this vital research. Riverside Marine’s team also work closely with scientific staff to improve vessel performance and provide naval architecture and mechanical engineering expertise during modifications to vessels and in deciding on vessel replacements. high speed crew transfer Riverside Marine Gladstone (2011 - 2015) Riverside Marine Gladstone commenced in May 2011 providing a passenger ferry service between Gladstone and Curtis Island for Bechtel Inc, the contractors building the QCLNG gas plant. This business was contracted to transfer around 1000 passengers a day between Curtis Island and the mainland. The four year contract for Bechtel required us to build three new fast ferries which were delivered in 2012. 28

Remote area freight handling and logistics Gulf Freight Services (1987 - 2003) Gulf Freight Services (GFS) provided a fully integrated supply chain from receipt to delivery of goods primarily for Comalco, Weipa and including the communities of Mornington Island and Aurukun. The role included management of land, sea and air transport to ensure safe and timely delivery of all freight. GFS owned a fleet of vessels specifically designed or purchased to operate in the unique waters of the Gulf of Carpentaria and across the top of Northern Territory. This business was sold in 2003 to Perkins Shipping. The business structure was lean and encouraged full ownership of all employees and partnerships involved in the day to day operations which assisted in providing a high quality service. For seventeen years we operated in this environment and thoroughly understand the challenges of North Queensland. 30

Remote area freight handling and logistics Western Metals Transhipment (1997 - 2001) Riverside Marine ran the transhipment operation for Western Metals in the Port of Derby, WA for seven years. We were integral in the marine design and construction of the Western Challenge in Batam, Indonesia. After commencement of the operation using our contractor model on the vessel we were then requested to run the wharf and loading facility. The partnership crew proceeded to operate the loading facility as well as the transhipment vessels which allowed efficiencies for our clients and extra revenue for the contractors. 32
