(Grades 5-8)
Don’t wait until you grow up to be-
come a real writer! Learn how to
write stories that readers cannot put
down. See which magazines publish
writing by young people and how to
successfully submit your work. As a
group, we will make our own maga-
zine featuring the stories written in
class—so you will get the chance to
see your story IN PRINT! The maga-
zine will be sent out for printing, then
mailed to you later in the summer.
Bring a notebook and pencil/pen

through a partnership with the Na-

 to complete tasks and activities.
