OUR CODE OF CONDUCT EXPRESSES AND REINFORCES OUR FOUNDATIONAL VALUES AND DEMONSTRATES THE COMMITMENT OF ALL WHO WORK AT DTCC TO CONDUCT OURSELVES WITH THE HIGHEST INTEGRITY. A MESSAGE FROM CEO MICHAEL BODSON As a trusted leader in protecting the security and integrity of the global financial system, DTCC and our employees have a responsibility to act with the highest ethical standards in everything we do. We support this by fostering a culture of respect, honesty, and diversity and inclusion – all characteristics that sit at the heart of our values and which have served as the guiding principles of our business for more than 40 years. As we assume a broader mandate to help the industry during this period of market transformation, we must always conduct ourselves with the highest integrity and “do the right thing” whenever, and wherever, we act on behalf of the firm. This is critical to building and maintaining trust with our stakeholders and creating a workplace where all employees feel comfortable speaking up. It is an exciting time to work at DTCC, and as we establish a more commercially-minded and entrepreneurial environment in order to expand our reach across the industry, we must remain true to our core values and follow them in all of our actions. The 2018 DTCC Code of Conduct is required reading for all employees so please make this a priority. As always, thank you for your continued dedication to DTCC and the role you play in supporting our integrity, values and ethics. Sincerely, Michael C. Bodson President and Chief Executive Officer DTCC CODE OF CONDUCT | 3
