Important Note • This document is guided by current MOH guidelines, SportSG’s Advisory for Resumption of Sport for Phase 2, as well as Gymnastics industry and expert inputs. • The parameters will be reviewed from time to time, and guidelines may change at a later juncture in Phase Two, taking into account how well the safe measures are implemented by operators and the compliance of the users in these settings, and the broader COVID-19 situation at the time. Please refer to the latest version in order to benefit from the latest best practices. • Our guidelines must be considered against our remit as the national governing body for Gymnastics. • While all care has been taken in the preparation of these guidelines and templates, Singapore Gymnastics (SG) have not and cannot make any representation or warranty that relying on this guide and the templates will ensure the health and safety of individuals in club, venue or training activities. SG is not liable to users of this guide and templates for any loss or damage however caused resulting from the use of this guide and templates, nor do they accept any responsibility for the accuracy of the information or your reliance upon it. Phase 2 - Sport Specific Guidelines • Facilities can only admit a maximum number of persons according to its Gross Floor Area based on 10 Sqm per person. No facility, regardless of size, shall admit more than 50 persons without specific approval by Sport Singapore. • Physical distancing of 2 metres between gymnasts within the same bubble. • Each bubble is limited to no more than 5 gymnasts. • If there is more than one bubble sharing a space, the bubbles must not interact and must maintain a distance of 3 metres apart from one another at all times. • Mixing between groups is prohibited at all times. • Each bubble of 5 gymnasts is allowed 1 coach. • Bubbles should be maintained throughout the phase. • Masks should be worn by support staff and coach. • SG will be guided by the final recommendations by MTF and SportSG. 17 June 2020 3

Return To Training • Individuals should not return to sport if in the last 14 days they have been unwell or had close contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19. • Anyone who is unwell should be referred to a doctor in accordance with Ministry Of Health (MOH) guidelines. Any individual with a possible case of COVID-19 must refrain from training (even at home) until they have been cleared to do so by a doctor as there is a potential for the illness to worsen. • It should also be considered that anyone returning to sport and exercise after a period of absence from the gym may be at an increased risk of injury. There should be a gradual return to training in order to mitigate risk of injuries. Sudden increase in training load will predispose to injury. 17 June 2020 7
Safe Management Officers (SMOs) & Safe Management Plans (SMPs) • Appointment of in-house Safe Management Officer(s) (SMOs) who are briefed to oversee and ensure compliance of the Safe Management Measures are in place (best to have more than one). • An appointed SMO should be in attendance at all times to monitor the implementation of the Safe Management Plan. • The SMOs will be responsible for formulating the implementation plans, conducting inspections and checks, as well as maintaining records for subsequent audits by the authorities. • A Safe Management Plan is required to be developed, documented, implemented, monitored, updated and communicated. • The SMP should include an evacuation and contingency protocol. • Evidence and documentation needs to be maintained and available around the implementation and monitoring of the Safe Management Plan. These plans are to be made available on site for inspection by the authorities. 17 June 2020 8
Duties of Safe Management Officers (SMOs) • To coordinate implementation of Safe Management Measures, which includes identifying relevant risks, recommending and assisting in implementing measures to mitigate the risks, and communicating the measures to all personnel working in the facility. • To conduct inspections and checks to ensure compliance at all times. Any non-compliance found during the inspections are to be reported and documented. • To take immediate action to remedy any non-compliance found during the inspections and checks. • To keep records of inspections and checks conducted and corrective actions taken. The records shall be made available upon request by a Government inspector. 17 June 2020 9
Facilities Access • Dedicated entry/exit point to the venue, and movement control of bubbles within the venue. • Implementation of Safe Entry/Exit at each venue, and the use of “TraceTogether” app to facilitate contact tracing. • Recording of entry and exit time of all individuals. These records must be stored. • Daily temperature screening, health declaration and hand sanitizing to be completed prior to entry (per entry) into training venue. Temperatures of all individuals must be recorded and kept. 17 June 2020 10

Measures within facilities • Minimize face to face communication with customers ie. parents. • Common areas where people will otherwise congregate should be cordoned off. • Minimize cash transactions. • Disinfecting agents like hand sanitisers, disinfectant sprays, paper towels and wipes must also be provided at all times up to a point where it is reasonably practicable, for the free use of customers, visitors and employees. • Clear demarcation of 1m safety distance for queues. • No spectators allowed. Do ensure child safety measures are in place by creating a safer sport environment with the “Rule of Two”. • Minimize the usage of changing rooms/bathrooms. 1 at a time only policy. 17 June 2020 12
Measures within facilities (cont’d) • Usage of lockers to be suspended to avoid crowding. • Designated area at each apparatus for each bubble to leave their gym bags. • Each bubble to have their own cleaning equipment and sanitizer to use when moving between apparatus. 17 June 2020 13
Measures During Training • Get in, train, and get out. Be prepared for training prior to arrival at venue. • Any tasks that can be done at home, should be done at home for the interim (eg. Recovery sessions, online meetings). • Maximum group size allowed is limited 5 gymnasts (coach not included). • Ratio 1 bubble : 1 coach. • Maintain a physical distance of at least 2m between each individual from the same bubble. • Each bubble will warm up and train independently, with NO intermingling. • Each bubble needs to remain 3m apart from one another. 17 June 2020 14
Measures During Training (cont’d) • Class management is key. The Coach must be able to manage and guarantee the adherence of 2m physical distancing within their bubble. • Ensure that there is NO inter-mingling between bubbles. Coaches included. • Ensure that there is a “one-way system” to keep all bubbles separate and to avoid congestion at entrances and exits. Coaches to assist gymnasts with where to go. • Supplementary equipment and vinyl mats must be thoroughly wiped down and cleaned by the coach before moving to next circuit/rotation/apparatus. • No sharing of drink bottles, towels, or any other personal sporting equipment. As much as possible, gymnasts should have their personal hand apparatus (rec gymnasts), personal yoga mat for warm up, physical preparation, cool down that are conducted on the floor. 17 June 2020 15
Measures During Training (cont’d) • Staggered training timings should be implemented to avoid overcrowding in the gym such that physical distancing is not possible. • Recommended stagger time is 10 minutes between classes so there is no overlap between gymnasts arriving and leaving. • Foam pit MUST be fully covered. Usage of foam pit should be avoided unless absolutely necessary. Recreational classes should not be utilizing the foam pit during this period. • Coaches MUST have their mask on at ALL times. • NO spotting of gymnasts, unless emergency saving. • NO new skills etc that requires spotting. • There should be NO unnecessary body contact. (eg. No handshaking, no high-fives) 17 June 2020 16
General Hygiene • Minimise the use of communal facilities. Eg. Toilets, changing rooms. • Increase in the cleaning and sanitizing of training venue. • Full wipe down of gym at the end of each day. • Disinfecting high touch surfaces as per the equipment manufacturer’s guidelines. • Hand hygiene (hand sanitizers) on entry and exit point, as well as pre, during and post training (ie in between circuits/rotations). • Change rooms, surfaces and objects in other relevant spaces should be cleaned between each session. Ie. door handles. (Dedicated cleaning time) • Ensure venue is well ventilated and aired at regular intervals. • Common areas must be periodically cleaned each day by law, and toilets must be provided at all times with adequate toilet paper, liquid soap or detergent, litter bins and clean towels or hand dryers. 17 June 2020 17
General Measures • Get in, train, and get out. • ALL individuals should arrive dressed and ready to start the session. • ALL individuals to change/shower at home on completion of session. • ALL individuals to only commute between training venues and their residences, without lingering outside before/after training. • Time spent in the gym should be reduced to the minimum. • NO socializing or group meals before, during or after training. • Staff to be working from home as much as possible. Work from home is the default! • No team bonding. Ie. birthday celebrations etc. 17 June 2020 18
Education of individuals about COVID-19 risk mitigation is crucial. Education will help to promote and set expectations for the required behaviours prior to recommencing activities. Continuous education and communication is KEY! 17 June 2020 19
Education • Provide education material for community sport members to promote required behaviours (e.g. regular and thorough handwashing, covering mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve during coughing/sneezing) • Education of all individuals on hygiene practices and promote required behaviours, ie. No sharing of drink bottles and towels, No sharing of mats, or equipment without an appropriate cleaning protocol, in between training sessions. • Display appropriate education material within the gym. This should be put up all around the facility prior to commencement of training. • Documentation, distribution and communication of Safe Management plan • All members to be educated on the importance of personal hygiene. All individuals to ensure that they are “Germ Free” as much as possible. It is their personal responsibility! 17 June 2020 20
Isolation • There should be an area designated for isolation if an individual becomes unwell. • Evacuation response protocol must be put in place. SMOs to take charge should such a situation arise. 17 June 2020 21
Contingency Protocol • In the event of a confirmed COVID-19 case, that facility is to be shut down immediately. • Identification of all staff and members who were in the affected facility at the time. • List of staff and members to be submitted to MOH for contact tracing. • Deep cleaning to be done at facility using NEA vendor. • Facility to only be reopened after deep cleaning is done, and facility is given MOH’s approval to reopen. 17 June 2020 22
