           City of Palos Heights Return to Work business and Resident Appreciation Program

The Mayor and City Council of the City of Palos Heights in recognition of the difficult times everyone is
experiencing during the Covid 19 pandemic is looking to help kick off a return to normal campaign. As
such we will be offering incentives and rewards for business and residents. We value all you do for the
City and hope you are all well. To begin with the City will not charge late fees for water bills sent out to   The “Love Local Business” program ended 8-1-2020.

Mayor and City Council approved program to incentivize residents to continue to support our business.
This program is for City residents only. When City Hall offices reopen to the public, a resident that
brings in at least $100 in original receipts from a Palos Heights retail or restaurant business obtained
between April 1, 2020 and July 1, 2020 may receive one of the following.

           At Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens!

      Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens is an 85-
        acre non-profit park that includes woodlands, prairie,
        wetlands, gardens and a 10-acre lake.
      An estimated 100,000 people come to the park each year to
        hike, jog, walk their dogs or to simply enjoy the beauty of the
        gardens and the abundant opportunities to see wildlife.
      In the warmer months Lake Katherine has canoes and kayaks to
        rent and the Cal-Sag Trail provides a beautiful cycling route for
        nature lovers.
      Our nature center features a menagerie of reptiles, animals and
        interesting books and exhibits for kids. We also have a
        children's play area located in the Children's Forrest.
