Welcome, Welcome! On behalf of the City Opera House Heritage Association Board and theater staff, we are excited to share the 2021-2022 Performing Arts at City Opera House season of events with you! After a more than year-long pause to in-person performances due to COVID-19, we are reminded about what we miss most when we are unable to gather together; each other. We are also reminded about what is most important when we are able to connect again; investing in the people and places that make us laugh, smile, sing, and tap our toes along to the music. We are so grateful to be able to invite you back into Traverse City’s hip, historical gem and to share an incredible season of national touring acts with our community and area visitors. After all, our mission is to be a regional hub for connecting people to the arts and each other. From Broadway musicals, to family fun, to jazz concerts and comedy acts, the City Opera House is your “home” for unforgettable arts and cultural experiences in the northern Michigan region. The performing arts community demonstrated its resilience over the last year and a half. Now, we are proud to be able to share their marvel- ous talents with you again. We look forward to seeing you at an upcom- ing event and invite you, and each of the people who make you smile, to make this house your home! Sincerely, Diana Baribeau Executive Director MAKE THIS HOUSE YOUR HOME
