There are kiosks at the train stops where you can put money onto a CTA card (using cash or credit card), which can be used for the bus. The bus # and direction will be announced via text at the top of the bus. The bus stops will be announced via text above the bus driver on the wall. When you need to get off at a specific stop, pull the string running along the outer edges of the bus to let the bus driver know you need to get off.
