2018 and 2019 CID Priorities 1 E ngage the cities of Chamblee and Doraville to review transportation system needs. Promote the Autonomous Shuttle Study and Town Center Plans. 2 E ngage DeKalb County staff and consultants for 2018 Transit Master Plan (TMP) and 2019 Comprehensive Transportation Plan (CTP) update. Determine and promote CID priorities. 3 U nderstand the scope of GDOT Top End 285 improvements and timeline. Determine impacts on CID area and market. Undertake actions to modify or enhance the project as appropriate. Ensure efficient connectivity, improved mobility and access. 4 E ngage during the I-285 Top End Transit Feasibility Study which will be undertaken to compare and contrast providing LRT (Light Rail) versus BRT (Bus Rapid Transit). 5 E stablish a CID Transportation Committee of area commercial property owners to identify additional project priorities and needs. Process to Establish Priorities 1 U nderstand context for transportation project funding and project development in metro Atlanta. 2 Identify the existing and planned projects funded by state and federal sources in the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) transportation program. 3 D etermine CID priorities within the DeKalb County and cities of Chamblee and Doraville transportation programs. 4 D etermine CID priorities independent of government plans and sources of funds as expressed by the Association Directors meeting. 5 Engage GDOT, ARC and local government processes to advance CID priorities.
