The German company Pleiger is showing
SMM fairgoers a selection of its
electro-hydraulic actuators, which con-
trol globe, butterfly and ball valves with
diameters between DN25 and DN1000.
They’re used for handling liquid and gas
cargoes as well as ballast water, blackwater
and greywater, and for the control of fuel oil
tanks. The major benefit of the Electro-Hy-
draulic System (EHS) is that – thanks to its
