2020-2021 Tidewell Foundation BOARD OF TRUSTEES Renee Eppard, Board Chair Renee W. Eppard serves as the founding Chair of the Tidewell Foundation Board of Trustees. She joined the Tidewell Hospice Board of Trustees in 2016 and serves as the Tidewell Hospice Board Secretary. Renee also serves on the Finance and Governance committees. Renee also serves on the SCATA Real Estate Board. Judith Berlow, Board Member Judith T. Berlow is currently in her first term of service to the Tidewell Foundation Board. Judith serves on the Signature Luncheon Host Committee and previously served on the Tidewell Hospice Philanthropy Committee. Stephen Hall, Board Member Stephen Hall joined the Tidewell Hospice Board of Trustees in 2015 and then the Stratum Health System Board in 2016. Stephen is the Chair of the SCATA Real Estate Board and the Vice Chair of the Stratum Health System Board. Stephen also serves as a member of the Tidewell Hospice board and on the Finance Committee BB&T and SunTrust are now Truist on the Tidewell Hospice Board. Making her show business debut at 11 years of age, Lorna has been a stage, film and Emmy-winning television actress and continues to perform in both the U.S. and the U.K. She has been a dedicated philanthropist fighting for a breast cancer cure and the importance of comprehensive healthcare after battling breast cancer four times and surviving brain cancer surgery. She is a tireless campaigner for children’s healthcare and generously supports charities that provide HIV/AIDS services. Lorna speaks candidly about the challenges of mental illness and the impact on women and their children and the courage it takes to seek healing. She shares her experiences of her final years with her famous mother and her compassion and love and ultimate grief following her untimely death. As a caregiver, not just to her mother, but also her dearest friend who spent her final two weeks of life in hospice and passed away last year, Lorna has been touched by the fragility and vulnerability of life.
