My name is Beverly Rodrigues, the President of Student Council. Being President is more than just leading the student body; it also entails being a friend in times of need. It’s been over a year since the pandemic struck, and I hope you’re all trying your best to stay positive. What have Beverly Rodrigues we learned from this predicament? If you had the chance to participate in any of our events, GREAT! For those of you that unfortunately have not, don’t worry, we’re here to recap some of the cool stuff that we did in this study period. Now, I’d like to bring you all to the very beginning of every club’s journey in a study period, Club Drive! It’s an event that encourages students to join many interesting clubs that JCU in Singapore has to offer. In a nutshell, it is such an endearing experience to be working as the head of all clubs. From working closely with my supervisors to executing large-scale events with the clubs, it is just a joy to make fun events. Not to mention, my wing heads and club presidents play a very big role in enhancing the hands-on experience for participants.
