THE MANAGER a word from... Matt Bee Good evening, it is great to welcome you back for this evening’s fixture at Padiham FC. On Sunday we welcomed Huddersfield Town Women in our first competitive home game of the season. Huddersfield presented a tough side and a challenge for our team on Sunday, and aspects of the performance could have been better. However, it is always good to get points on the board, and a further three points have placed us at the top of the table. Fylde present a tough game for us this evening, and this will be a huge test against a side of quality individuals who are well established within the league. However, it is important that we look ahead and face the challenge whilst learning from previous mistakes. RNLEY FC BU WO MEN W E D N E S DAY 30 T H S E P T E M B E R 2020 3
RNLEY FC BU THE CAPTAIN a word from... Lauren Bracewell WO MEN AS A TEAM WE ARE READY TO WORK HARD AND RISE TO THE CHALLENGE. Lauren Being back at Padiham FC for our first competitive home game on Sunday felt great, and this was made even better with the three points we managed to get on the board. We know we still have lots of things to work on as a team, but the win was a great boost all the same! Alongside the positives, the performance also provided us with things we can improve on, key areas we can work with Matt on in training to build on throughout the season. Tonight’s game will not be easy by any means, Fylde are a difficult side to face and they are coming off the back of a positive result at the weekend. Midweek games present their own challenges, with the disrupted pattern which we face, however as a team we are ready to work hard to rise to the challenge & show everyone what we’ve got.
