Good evening, it is great to welcome you back for this evening’s fixture at
Padiham FC. On Sunday we welcomed Huddersfield Town Women in our first
competitive home game of the season.

Huddersfield presented a tough side and a challenge for our team on Sunday, and
aspects of the performance could have been better. However, it is always good to
get points on the board, and a further three points have placed us at the top of
the table.

Fylde present a tough game for us this evening, and this will be a huge test
against a side of quality individuals who are well established within the league.
However, it is important that we look ahead and face the challenge whilst learning
from previous mistakes.
                                                                        RNLEY FC

Being back at Padiham FC for our first
competitive home game on Sunday felt
great, and this was made even better with
the three points we managed to get on the
board. We know we still have lots of things
to work on as a team, but the win was a great
                                boost all the same!

                                Alongside the positives, the performance
also provided us with things we can improve

training to build on throughout the season.

Tonight’s game will not be easy by any

Fylde Women were formed in 2016 as part of the rebranding of Preston North End
Women FC. In this rebrand, the club association was changed to AFC Fylde. Preston
North End were formed in 1997 and gained promotion into the Women’s National
          League in 2006.

In 2006, the team finished 2nd, achieving their highest ever position. In 2017, Conrad
NAGERPrendergast took the managerial role and spent three years with the club, before
TT BEE
departing at the end of the 2019/20 season.

Suring the COVID-19 Pandemic, AFC Fylde reserved a decision to disband the team, so
that the club could continue to compete in the Women’s National League. Kimberly
Turner and Danielle Young have now taken joint ownership, with a completely new
