91 years of service Our History The Elcock name has long been associated with Ironbridge since before the 1900’s, originating from Much Wenlock, in Shropshire. John Elcock, with his wife Harriet, opened a Greengrocers and Game Dealers in Ironbridge High Street. Following the first world war, John Elcock began to transport people as well as produce. Early Charabancs were soon in operation, before coach built vehicles were bought in and the familiar red and grey fleet appeared on the local roads. As the popularity of coach transport grew so did M.H.Elcock & Son Ltd, expanding operations from Telford and throughout the country brings us up to date with the now internationally known ELCOCK REISEN, resplendent in its silver, red and gold livery.
