Just as spring succeeds winter, one academic year succeeds another - until you reach your final year of high school.
Now, everything changes. For our graduates of 2018 change is upon you.
Like all of the great moments in life—some is gained at the price of something lost. So it is when one graduates
high school: the lesser responsibility associated with being a teenager is replaced with the accountability of
adulthood.
The care free days of youth become contested by the pressures of post-secondary studies, attaining life goals,
professional responsibility and family responsibilities. But this is nothing to fear - these are milestones that light
and mark the way forward.
I will end with a few words of advice: whatever path you forge always try to savour the journey itself and be open
to befriending people unlike yourself. Developing good friendships is one of life’s most valuable and enjoyable
features.
As you go forward you will meet many people from many backgrounds. Do try to make the most of that great
opportunity.

Principal’s Message It is my pleasure to welcome new students and celebrate with our graduating students this 2017-2018 Academic Year at Braemar College. Every student takes a unique path to discover personal growth and challenges upon arriving in Canada. Although we all strive to be the best, it is with inevitable failures that we learn valuable life experience. During studies at Braemar, our Teachers and Staff encourage creative and critical thinking skills for academic success and lifelong learning. We watch each student grow. We encourage each student in their dreams and their hopes. Now, they are achieving their academic dreams because of Braemar College. I ask each student to embrace life here in Canada or abroad, discover passion and accept challenges with a positive mindset. Find support in friends and family. “Braemar College” come from?
