After reviewing the data, the Guiding Coalition identified the following needs: social/emotional learning environment.
 The need to improve instructional practices through collaboration and reflective
         feedback,
 The need to improve student achievement in Reading and Mathematics,
 The need to increase student engagement, and
 The need to provide a safe and nurturing academic and social/emotional learning
         environment.

Our Guiding Coalition determined that these needs would direct the Priorities for our 2021-2022
School Improvement Plan. The Guiding Coalition and parents worked collaboratively to create
our Ready for Learning Plan and Parent’s Guide to the Ready for Learning Plan.

Goals:
1. To increase the percentage of teachers receiving ratings of “Highly Effective” on TESS Indicators 1e (Designing Coherent Instruction), 2c (Managing
Classroom Procedures), 3c (Engaging Students in Learning), and 4d (Participating in a Professional Community) by at least 20% as measured by
administrative observations documented in EdReflect for the 2021-2022 school year.

2. To increase the percentage of kindergarten-fifth grade students performing at the Average, High Average, and High proficiency levels by at least 20% in
Reading and Mathematics as measured by the 2021-2022 NWEA MAP Growth Fall, Winter, and Spring Assessments.
3. To increase student engagement as measured by at least a 10% reduction in the number of students receiving Office Referrals during the 2021-2022
school year.
4. To ensure that students, staff, and parents/guardians work collaboratively to provide a safe and nurturing academic and social/emotional learning
environment as measured by a 20% reduction in the number of students who are chronically absent and/or are chronically tardy and a 10% increase in the
number of parents/guardians participating in conferences in the 2021-2022 school year.ie

Goal 2: To increase the percentage of kindergarten-fifth grade students performing at the Average, High Average, and High proficiency levels by
20% in Reading and Mathematics as measured by the 2021-2022 NWEA MAP Growth Fall, Winter, and Spring Assessments.

School Data:
A review of the 2021-2022 NWEA Map Growth Fall K-5 Reading and Mathematics Assessment results indicated that 60% (140 of 233) of students
scored in “Low” or “Low Average” in Reading and 71% (165 of 233) students scored “Low” or “Low Average” in Mathematics.

An Analysis of the NWEA Map Growth Fall K-2 Reading Fluency Screener results indicated that 65.3% (51 of 78) students were “flagged” by the
Dyslexia Screener.

An analysis of the NWEA Map Growth Fall K-5 Reading and Mathematics Assessment results indicated the following:

 Second Grade Reading-20 of 36 scored Low or Low Average Mathematics-22 of 35 scored Low or Low Average
 Third Grade Reading-29 of 49 scored Low or Low Average Mathematics-38 of 50 scored Low or Low Average
 Fourth Grade Reading-37 of 50 scored Low or Low Average Mathematics-41 of 50 scored Low or Low Average
 Fifth Grade Reading-34 of 52 scored Low or Low Average Mathematics-45 of 52 scored Low or Low Average

Four students (one second grade; two third grade; and one fourth grade) did not complete all portions of the NWEA Map Growth K-5 Fall Reading
and Mathematics Assessments. Therefore, their proficiency levels and observed growth could not be calculated.
