For Christ Forever Capital Campaign Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
Frequently Asked Questions 1. When the parish reaches its PSA goal and 25% share, how will this be communicated? There will be a quarterly report issued after each quarter has been reconciled and audited, by the 10th of the month following the quarter (next quarter 6/30/13) 2. Are parishes able to see the progress on payments of pledges? Yes, payments are applied and can be viewed by downloading a Parish Donor Report on the Raiser’s Edge Parish Dashboard. The leadership code is needed from the pastor to view full details of the pledge. 3. Will the rebate checks be an actual check or an ACH deposit? The OCF will process an ACH deposit to the parish’s account, similar to the PSA. 4. Where can I get the leadership code if I need to access to the full pledge information on the donor report? The leadership code will be issued to all pastors who will need to give permission to campaign leadership to receive the code. Pastors can ask for the code through the OCF or their GIG representative.
Frequently Asked Questions 5. Are reminder statements going to be sent? If so, when? Yes, once the pledge has been processed, reminder statements are being printed each month according to the requested payment schedule the week prior to the end of the month to be received by the 1st of the month. 6. Are thank you acknowledgement letters going to be sent from Bishop Vann or should the parish send them? Acknowledgement letters from Bishop Vann are being sent no later than two weeks after receipt of the pledge by OCF (average of 5 days from parish to OCF). 7. How will pledges be transported to the OCF? All pledges are to be placed in the security envelope provided by your Guidance in Giving representative and they will pick up the envelopes that will then be transported to the campaign lockbox in Seal Beach. 8. Where should pledges be mailed after the campaign follow‐up is completed and GIG representatives are no longer in the parish? All pledges should be mailed to the Diocese of Orange Capital Campaign Lockbox at P.O. Box 3860, Seal Beach, CA 90740 (pledge envelopes have this address pre‐printed).
Frequently Asked Questions 9. How is the OCF safe‐guarding credit card and personal information? The OCF has internal policies and procedures approved by an outside auditing firm that ensure strict confidentiality and security of all donor financial records and personal information. The OCF offices are secured by card entry and all staff have been trained on the handling of donor financial records and information. 10. If I cannot access my parish dashboard, who should I call? Please call the OCF at (714) 282‐3025 or (714) 282‐3134 or email dgonzalez@oc‐foundation.org or ywright@oc‐foundation.org. 11. My password doesn’t seem to be working – has it been changed? All passwords have been updated to a “2” at the end of your parish password.
