gaiaecoproducts_usa 05 Common Questions Are your products really environmentally friendly? Absolutely! Our products are all made with sustainably harvested papers, all FSC certified. We use only water-based inks and coatings to eliminate the traditional use of solvent-based chemicals. All of our cups are made without plastic linings, and are able to be used for hot or cold beverages, eliminating the need for multiple cups. As a result of these choices, our products are all compostable, recyclable and biodegradable, including in marine environments. You claim to outperform the competition, why do you say that? We have tested thousands of our competitor's products. Most of them come from China or India, and the raw materials used are substandard and in some cases even dirty. We have the cleanest factory anywhere in the world making these product lines. We have the newest equipment and technology. We use only the best materials and processes to further ensure performance such as our choice of adhesives, coatings and processing. We incorporate new technology such as bendable straws, angle-cuts, super-jumbo sizes for boba and smoothies and can produce low-quantity custom printed solutions. Don't take our word for it - test our product for yourself, and we know you'll never go back. Better quality almost always means higher prices. Are you competitive with the market? We firmly believe you get what you pay for, but we also believe that you should never have to over-pay for quality. We are absolutely competitive with the marketplace for average to above-average quality products from our competitors. We are below the average cost for most of our competition in the above-average to premium quality category, and still outperform all of them in terms of product durability, safety and features. Paper straws are notorious for falling apart in drinks, frustrating our customers and costing us money by requiring us to use multiple straws and even replace drinks. Can your products prevent this? This is exactly the situation we have developed our straws to prevent! Nothing is more costly than upset customers, and the added cost of giving away free drinks and using multiple straws per drink costs many times more than just buying the right product to start with. We have a paper that is surface treated to prevent absorption, and adhesives that are stronger and not quickly water-soluble while still being biodegradable and recyclable. Our straws have passed the "Three Margarita" trials, where we test them in alcoholic beverages for multiple drinks without failure. Alcohol quickly destroys almost every other straw in the market quickly, but not ours. Bar owners should try our wider diameter straws, which let the customer get more liquid with every sip, so they enjoy frozen cocktails and mixed drinks before they get watered down. How is your company different from the others in this space? We are the only manufacturer in this category that we know of that is getting FSSC22000 certification for food-grade manufacturing of our products. We are the only American company using the specific paper we have for our products, and are the testing partner for the mill for cups and straws, so we get the most advanced product developments months ahead of anyone else. Socially and environmentally, we stand alone as well. We have the most robust environmental stewardship program of anyone in our industry, with active reforestation and forest preservation programs in place. I want to buy your product, but I use a distributor to simplify my purchasing and deliveries. How can I buy your products if our distributor doesn't carry your line? We are open to working with almost any distributor in the country. If you aren't able to get our products through them, we can arrange a call with them together and start the process to get them to offer our brand. Ultimately, you are the customer, and no distributor wants their customers to shop elsewhere. They should have no problem buying our products to support your business! If they refuse, we can and do offer drop-ship in many cases, so you won't have to miss out. We want to customize our cups and straws. Can we do this? Yes! We have 4 color printing done in-house. Our minimums are typically under 50,000 cups, and in some cases, for established customers, we've printed as few as 25,000 to help them out. Small runs do cost a little more, but it's pennies, not dimes in terms of difference, and it allows you to have the impact you need for your event without the cost of owning tens of thousands of cups you don't need. Do you work with these types of programs? We do. We have several channels to do this. We work closely with several leading charities to help manage giving, and can work on PR programs to get recognition for your organization. We can also work to create custom products for fundraising, pricing at levels to really help the organization drive contributions for qualifying causes. We are absolutely committed to help deserving organizations find new and innovative ways to help others! Do you make double-cup coffee cups? We will have our machinery installed in our Lawrence, Kansas production facility to do this in early 2022, and we will offer double cups in 12oz, 16oz and 20oz sizes. Our 24 oz cups will be single-wall only, but still suitable for coffee or cold drinks. Can we visit your facility? We do allow limited access to our facilities for clients, but not to the general public or online sales customers. We reserve access for safety and cleanliness standards as well as privacy of our customers. We do have facility videos and live meetings on Zoom, Whatsapp or Messenger as well as live feed capability at the manufacturing centers to watch your press run. down, balance net 30 from receipt.
MOQ for customization is 50,000 pieces,

For items sold from USA inventory, terms are
net 15 days from delivery.
Customers with purchase contracts enjoy
better terms.
Prices are FOB our dock in Lawrence, KS. Full
