BEYOND 2021 So, what is waiting beyond 2021? Currently, Keppel Club has signed a Letter of Intent with the Singapore Polytechnic Graduates’ Guild (SPGG) to work on extending our recreational and sports components beyond 2021. An agreement will be signed in mid-2021 when SPGG extends its lease. The Sime Golf Course will serve as our new golfing facility for Keppel Club members. With this combination, Keppel Club will be able to provide both golfing as well as recreational facilities for its members. TOP-UP SCHEME These opportunities require funds for the land lease, capital expenditure for the club-house, golf as well as recreational facilities. Keppel’s reserves continue to be depleted with unprecedented impact brought about by the COVID-19 as well as reduction of monthly subscription to $1. The Club’s operating deficit has been around $0.85 million per month since June RECREATIONAL / GOLF / F&B 2020 and this is likely to continue. A top up from members would be necessary to support these new initiatives. SPORTS / F&B
GENERAL INFORMATION ON SIME LEASE ARRANGEMENT This top-up is needed to meet the required sum of capital outlay and ensure the sustainability of Keppel Club beyond 2021. For the Club to be Keppel Club will be allowed to operate the Sime Course with a lease period viable, we are targeting about 1,500 members to opt-in. The details of this arrangement are as follows: The amount of top-up required for each member classification is as follows: Sime Course @ SICC Lease Period 1 Jan 2022 to 31 Dec 2030 Ordinary Membership $5,350 Golf Flight Allocation 40% reserved for members Associate Membership Subscribing Membership 60% open for public booking Corporate Membership $8,025 (a variable of about 10% of public slots can be taken up by Keppel Social Membership $3,210 members with no booking priority) (Prices are inclusive of GST) In order to move forward with this arrangement, the Club seeks members’ Up to $35M KEPPEL RESERVES & participation to opt-in to the top-up scheme. Eligible members who do so FUNDS UTILISATION can extend their membership beyond 2021. Capital Expenditure for Top up from $7M to Land Lease, Clubhouse, Members $10M Up Sime Course & Members who do not opt-in will be entitled to continue using the Club facilities to Recreational Facilities at both SPGG and Sime Course for one more year until end of 2022. Estimated $31M $25M at end 2021

Facilities at Sime location Under this arrangement, SICC will be handing over these facilities to Keppel Club: • 18-hole Championship Sime Course • Existing Bukit Clubhouse on leasehold land, comprising of: – Golfers’ Terrace & Restaurants – Driving Range (Pro-shop and Practice Area) – Golfer’s Changing Rooms – Pub – Extra room to convert to Jackpot Room – Bag drop and Buggy Station – Golf course maintenance workshop – Admin Office
BUKIT CLUBHOUSE Keppel Club will be operating from the Bukit Clubhouse, which houses several food and beverage options.
