President 's Message Dear Members, Would like to wish all our senior members that are competing in the pool rescue State Championships this weekend good luck! If you would like to go down and support our team the event information is on the SLSWA website - https://www.mybeach.com.au/ Ron Morris President Juniors All Green, White, Light blue and Black caps if your not lucky enough to be away for school holidays and want to have a go at something new ? We need you at pool rescue!!! Entries close tomorrow at 12pm to Jess in the office. Andrew Ridley has organised a couple of training sessions Sorrento Pool Rescue Training (for all state champs entrants) Saturday 30th June: 2pm - 3pm Craigie Leisure Centre (with Drew & Matt) Sunday 1st July: 2pm - 3pm HBF Stadium, Mt Claremont 10 lane outdoor pool (with Andrew & Carly) Saturday 7th July: 2pm - 3pm Craigie Leisure Centre (with Andrew) This is a great way to pick up some skills before states - we have selected Saturdays and Sundays to cater for both Saturday and Sunday winter sports clashes. Please email me at JuniorDirector@sorrentoslsc.org.au with your name if attending and which session so that we can have the correct amount of equipment ready!!!( if you have notified Andrew through Facebook there is no need to re do it) Please only attend training sessions if you intend to have a crack at states the following weekend Required equipment is goggles swimming cap and bring fins if you have them (ones manly used in squads) Kerion Burke
