AUCTION Wednesday 2 March 2022 at 2.30pm AUCTION BEHIND CLOSED DOORS Bidding via internet / telephone / proxy live video stream
Auction: Wednesday 2nd March 2022 Welcome to our second sale of 2022. This auction will be conducted behind closed doors. Buyers will be able to view the auction in real time and have the option to bid online, by telephone or by proxy. Our last Auction in January achieved fantastic results, interest was high and we achieved an overall 88% sales success, which is a great start to the year. Furthermore a number of properties sold for much higher than their guides prices. Like previous Auctions this March auction sale offers a range of opportunities for residential, commercial, land and investment properties. We always strive to cater for a range of buyers, so whether you are a developer, investor or first-time buyer we have something for you. So how does the present property market compare to that of 2021. I still feel 2021 was an anomaly, with annual house prices growth hitting double digits. This growth beat all predictions and made 2021 the strongest calendar year performance since 2006. Some of the biggest drivers of this growth was a desire for a change of lifestyle, low interest rates, lenders wanting to lend and the stamp duty holiday. These all contributed making it not only a great time to sell but also to buy. I always feel that when the property market is buoyant there is a general air of confidence in the economy. But do we dare hope for another year of growth? What are the predictions for 2022? RICS has reported that house price growth remains consistent over the UK. This teamed with the announcement by the new Housing Minister, Stuart Andrew MP, Industry experts have noted that from a lobbying capacity they must work together to find solutions to speed up the home buying and selling process. There is also pressure on him to re-energise the planning system to remove historically unhelpful barriers to maximising delivery. When achieved these benefits will contribute to a smoother 2022 for the industry. In my opinion, going into 2022 demand has continued and therefore feel confident to reassure you that consumer confidence remains high despite factors such as the rising cost of living. To retain your confidence we just have to look back through the pandemic, the property market is one of the few industries that has not only survived successfully but is likely to be seen as a real ‘safe haven’ in the future from an investment perspective too. So you have come to the right place, as local experts with 30+ years experience in the industry – ours is a service you can trust. We would like to thank you for your interest in joining us for this Auction sale. We encourage you to register to bid early and ensure that you view the property and the associated legal documents.
