This Foxtel Broadband & Home Phone Price Guide (Price Guide) applies to Foxtel nbn Broadband and Foxtel
Home Phone services and forms part of our Foxtel Broadband & Home Phone Agreement.
Your use of Foxtel Broadband and Foxtel Home Phone services is subject to the Foxtel Fair Use Policy.
All prices are GST inclusive where applicable unless otherwise noted. Capitalised terms used in this Price Guide
have the meaning given in the General Terms section of our Foxtel Broadband & Home Phone Agreement,
unless stated otherwise.
2. What is the right plan for me?
2.1 Which Broadband plan is right for you?
Foxtel’s Broadband plans include Unlimited data.
If you are an existing Foxtel cable/satellite TV customer, you can bundle an Unlimited Broadband plan with
your existing TV plan (see section 3.2.1 of this Price Guide for more details).
We also offer an Unlimited Broadband plan for customers who wish to purchase Foxtel Broadband without a
TV subscription (see section 3.2.2 of this Price Guide for more details).
If you are new to Foxtel, you can bundle an Unlimited Broadband service with a TV plan (see section 3.3 of this
Price Guide).
A Home Phone service can also be added to your Broadband plan or to your Broadband and TV bundle. See the
tables at 3.2 and 3.3 of this Price Guide for further information.
2.2 Home Phone Usage Guide
The Foxtel Home Phone Add-On plan includes unlimited standard local, national and mobile calls. An
International Calling Pack is also available.
How do I use my Home Phone Plan Options

2.3 How do I keep track of my usage?
To check how much data you have used or how much you have spent on calls, access your online My Account
by going to foxtel.com.au/myaccount.
If you are a legacy customer and you are on a plan with an included monthly data limit, we will send you usage
alerts via SMS/Email when you reach 50%, 85% and 100% of your monthly data limit.

Effective from 28 January 20212.4 nbnTM speeds
Plus speed is included in all Foxtel Broadband plans sold after 18 April 2018. If you are a legacy customer using
a Foxtel Broadband service on the nbnTM network purchased before 18 April 2018, the Basic speed tier is
included in all legacy 200GB data plans or less, and the Standard speed tier is included in all legacy plans with
over 200GB of data included. This also applies to customers who migrate their pre 18 April 2018 ADSL plans
across to the nbnTM network after that date. If you wish to upgrade your nbnTM speed tier, please see section
4.1.2 of this Price Guide for pricing.
The broadband speeds you experience can be impacted by a number of factors, including:
• local conditions and performance of interconnecting infrastructure not operated by Foxtel (eg the
wiring at your location);
• network congestion;
• number of active electronic devices in your home;
• software/hardware (eg malware and viruses);
• location of the content you are accessing;
• the settings and positioning of your modem.
The Typical Evening Speed of your plan is the average speed an nbnTM from Foxtel Broadband customer can
expect to experience during busy periods for that plan. The Typical Evening Speed applicable to each nbnTM
speed tier is set out in the table below. For FTTN, FTTB. FTTC and Fixed Wireless services, your actual speeds
and eligibility for a speed upgrade will be confirmed following the activation of your Foxtel Broadband service.
Premium Speed is not available to Fixed Wireless addresses.

3. Pricing & packaging summary
3.1 General Terms
(a) If you have purchased a legacy plan with an included monthly data limit, this is measured in Gigabytes
(GB); each GB is equal to 1000 Megabytes (MB).
(b) In the event you exceed your Foxtel Broadband included monthly data limit your speed for both
uploads and downloads will be limited to 256Kbps until the start of your next billing period. If you
have Foxtel TV, services such as the Foxtel Go, Foxtel On Demand and Store will not be speed limited.
If you have a subscription to Foxtel Now, your access to those services will also not be speed limited if
you exceed your included monthly data limit.
(c) All pricing in this Price Guide is for Foxtel Broadband and Foxtel Home Phone services.

(e) Use of unlimited standard local and/or national and international calls is subject to the Foxtel Fair Use

(f) Use of Unmetered Foxtel video content is subject to the Foxtel Fair Use Policy, which can be found on
the Foxtel Website.
3.2 Foxtel Unlimited Broadband Plans
3.2.1 Unlimited Foxtel nbnTM Broadband when bundled with an existing Foxtel TV service
The following bundles apply to new Foxtel Broadband customers who have an active Foxtel TV service. If the
Foxtel TV service is suspended by us, or by you voluntarily you will be charged as per the standard pricing
outlined in section 3.2.2.

$5 Home Phone Add-On Details
The $5 Home Phone is an Add-On to an existing or new Foxtel plan, and is not a standalone product. The $5
Home Phone Product is taken on a month to month basis, with a minimum term of one billing month.
Customers who take Foxtel Broadband on the nbnTM network may elect to also take a Home Phone Add-on
plan in addition to their Foxtel Broadband service. They do not need to take a Home Phone to receive their
service.
Customers who choose to take Foxtel Broadband on the ADSL network are required to have an active Home
Phone line on the Telstra or Telstra Wholesale network in order to receive their Broadband Service. These
Customers will be assigned a phone service by Foxtel for no extra cost. Foxtel ADSL customers may also
elect to take the $5 Home Phone Add-On in order to make use of the inclusions^.

reflect the pricing you agreed to at the time of entering your contract with Foxtel.
3.5 Foxtel Home Phone Plan

4. Extras
4.1 Foxtel Broadband Extras
4.1.1 Data Top Ups
If you are a legacy customer and you have purchased a plan with an included monthly data limit, Data Top Ups
are blocks of additional data available for purchase at any time. A Foxtel Broadband service with an exhausted
data allowance will be 'shaped' to a speed of 256Kbps, but purchasing a Data Top Up will provide you with a
chunk of extra unshaped data for you to use before the end of a billing period. Please note that any unused
data, including data from a Data Top Up, will not rollover into your next billing cycle.

4.1.2 Additional nbnTM Speed Tiers
If you purchased a nbnTM service from Foxtel Broadband prior to 18 April 2018, the following nbnTM speed tiers
are included in your broadband plan when you migrate to the nbnTM. This also applies to customers who
migrate their pre 18 April 2018 ADSL plans across to the nbnTM network after that date. You may be able to
upgrade to a higher speed tier for an additional monthly fee. Full details of these fees are set out in the table
below. If you purchase one of these higher speed tiers, you will remain on your chosen nbnTM speed tier unless
changed.

5. Fees

For all Foxtel Broadband plans, there may be other one-time connection frees such as TV install fee and
iQ3/iQ4K equipment fee. Please refer to the Foxtel TV Price Guide on
https://www.foxtel.com.au/about/customer-terms.html for the standard fees.
5.2 Early Termination Fees
(a) The Early Termination Fee (ETF) amount is determined by the specific service(s) cancelled.
(b) If you cancel a service (including transfer to another service provider) before the end of the minimum
term, you will be charged an ETF in most cases. The ETF (for each cancelled service) will be a
maximum of $300 for the Foxtel Broadband service at the start of the relevant minimum term for that
service. The ETF for each service decreases by equal instalments each month that you retain the
service on the applicable minimum term.
(c) The Foxtel TV service ETF terms are set out in the Foxtel Residential Television Subscription
Agreement and the TV Price Guide which you can access here:
https://www.foxtel.com.au/about/customer-terms.html.
(d) There is no ETF for cancelling the Foxtel Home Phone Add-On.
5.3 Maintenance Fees
Set out below are details of our standard fees for maintenance carried out by us (or any sub-contractor).
Labour Fees apply when we attend your Home on a service call, or an incorrect callout where we are required
to attend for longer than 15 minutes. This fee may also be applied to travel time and waiting time due to
delays caused by you.
This fee is applied for each 15 minute block or part thereof, for each person engaged to do the work for you.

*A Service Call Charge may be applied for (but not limited to) altering cabling or equipment, work done
beyond the defined Network Boundary Point, maintenance works which are outside our service assurance
commitments, or adds, moves or changes. A customer will be told about the charges and approval will be
sought from the customer, prior to starting any work.
5.4 Incorrect Call-Out Fees
We may charge an Incorrect Call-Out Fee in the event a technician is required and:
a) you (or a person 18 years or over that has your authority) are not in attendance at your Home; or
b) a fault condition is found not to be on the Foxtel Network (or the network of our Suppliers) but in
your private equipment or cabling, unless such equipment or cabling is covered by a separate
maintenance agreement with us.

Effective from 28 January 2021The Incorrect Call-Out Fee includes the first 15 minutes of labour per person. In the event that the incorrect
call out is longer than 15 minutes standard labour fees and maintenance fees will apply after that time.
Private equipment includes (but is not limited to) the following items: modems, auto diallers, cordless phones,
fax machines, non-Telstra ADSL equipment and non-rental touchphones / handsets / payphones.
We will tell you about this charge at the time you ask us to attend your Home. If you are unsure whether the
fault is in the Foxtel Network (or the network of our Suppliers), please describe the problem to us when you
report the fault and we will make a reasonable attempt to advise you at that time.

5.5 Professional Installation
Foxtel Professional Installation is available to new and existing Foxtel customers who have a Foxtel Broadband
service and require in-home assistance to setup a connected Foxtel Broadband connection.

1. exceed the professional install – standard time of 60 minutes; and/or
2. require additional work and/or outlets within your home;

1. Paper bill fees are charged at the time of issuing the bill and will appear on that bill. Information about
Foxtel’s paper bill fee exemption policy can be found on the Foxtel Website.

3. Payment processing fees are charged in arrears and will appear on the bill following your payment.

6.2.2 Calls to InfoCalls
InfoCall allows callers to a 190 number to access information and content services provided by an InfoCall
service provider either as a live or recorded voice call, a video call, a fax-back service or a data transmission
service.
We only supply the telephone call to the 190 number. The InfoCall service provider supplies the content. We
are not responsible for the content contained in an InfoCall service where that content has not been provided
by us and accept no liability for such content.
You can ask us to bar access to InfoCall services from your home phone at any time.
We may prevent you from accessing InfoCall services if you ask us to or if you have not paid your Foxtel
account. We will try to tell you if this happens.
The InfoCall service provider sets the charge for the call, either as a fixed charge, a timed charge or a
combination of the two. We set the mobile surcharge and the call connection fee for voice calls and video calls
to InfoCall services.

Effective from 28 January 2021We will pay the InfoCall service provider for InfoCall services supplied by the InfoCall service provider to you in accordance with our agreement with the InfoCall service provider. For this reason, you owe us the amount of the charges charged by the InfoCall service provider for InfoCall services supplied, but we will not charge you for the provision of credit. We will debit your Foxtel account with the amount of the charges charged by the InfoCall service provider for the InfoCall services supplied to you and our charges if applicable. These amounts will appear on your Foxtel bill. You must let us know of any errors or disputed InfoCall service charge amounts that appear on your Foxtel account. We may agree not to charge you any InfoCall service charge amounts. If we do, we may adjust your Foxtel account to reflect this. You are warned during the call before the charges change. 6.2.3 Reverse Charge Calls (a) What is a reverse charge call? A reverse charge call is where a person calls on a designated number and seeks to be connected to a particular home phone service and charge the customer of that service for the call, i.e. charge the call recipient. If we choose to accept the request and connect the call to your Foxtel Home Phone services, we ask the person answering the call whether they wish to accept the call. Calls from a Foxtel Home Phone service in Australia to 12550 or 1800NoCash™ (Telstra’s National Reverse Charge access numbers) do not incur any usage charges or connection fees for the person making the call.
