Experiences of Masterclass Alumni “I joined the Masterclass looking for hands-on, sustainability education and gained so much more. I left feeling empowered and ultimately prepared to tackle the diverse environmental challenges we face today. Since the Masterclass, I have applied the skills acquired to tackling countless, diverse sustainability projects through several roles at Green Living Enterprises and now at the David Suzuki Foundation.” - Charlotte Burke, Canada “I enrolled in the Masterclass thinking that climate change was just about science - that it was all technical. I was really surprised to learn that it’s actually about personal development. Even if you know the science and want to transition to clean energy systems, if you’re not mentally prepared for the change then you can’t do it right. The Masterclass inspired me to start a climate podcast that goes beyond the science and supports the listener’s personal growth.” - Elisabeth Mbeng, Cameroon “The energy from the class was invigorating, Each member had different approach to the group activities which was proof enough of the multidisciplinary nature of [sustainability] challenges. I know now that the solutions have to come from different players: private, public and non-profit sectors, each working together towards a common goal. I’ve incorpo- rated this knowledge into countless projects and proposals in finance and real estate since.” - Cristobal Poblete Lavanchy, Chile
