General Information Enrolment in the 2022 Spring AHA program opens for Ascham families on Friday 2 September and external students on Wednesday 7 September, 2022. Week 1 Monday 19 September - Friday 23 September 2022 Bookings close 16 September Week 2 Monday 26 September – Friday 30 September 2022 Bookings close 21 September Week 3 Tuesday 4 October – Friday 7 October 2022 Bookings close 28 September Enrolment for all programs is via Trybooking https://www.trybooking.com/eventlist/aha Age guidelines A student’s age/year group is taken as of the current Timing calendar year. Activities will be split into age- AHA programs run from 9am–3.30pm daily. Coaching appropriate groups (numbers permitting). Prep clinics run from 9am – 1pm. Please ensure participants programs are for students aged 4 and older who start arrive, check-in and are collected on time. Kindergarten in 2023. Please note there is no Camp Australia aftercare available at this camp. Students must be collected by COVID 19 4pm. Procedures are in place to support both students and staff during this time. Students may be subject to Medical conditions temperature checks on arrival, program numbers are Medical conditions should be disclosed at the point of limited and any students who present with cold or flu booking and action plans, or relevant documentation, symptoms will not be permitted to attend the AHA. forwarded to the AHA Manager. Location What to bring All holiday programs take place at the Fiona Campus All participants are to wear appropriate clothing, of Ascham School. Entry is off 188 New South Head including a hat for when outside, and closed-in shoes. Road, Edgecliff. All children must bring their own morning tea, lunch and drinks. Additional required items will be advised Drop off and pick up the week prior to your child’s activities. All students attending the programs should enter the School via the New South Head Road gates and proceed Photo permission around the carpark. A car line will operate from 8.30am Photographs may be taken by AHA staff and may be (for drop off) and 3.30–4pm (for pick up). used for Ascham publications, on the website and social media. If you do not wish your child’s photograph to be used, please notify at the time of booking.

Week 3 Activities StarTime Animated Animals Tuesday 4 – Friday 7 October Years K–6 Bookings close 28 September Thursday 6 October 9am–3.30pm $105 Dance Camp Capture the fabulous features of your faithful Years K–6 companion! Learn tips and tricks to create a Tuesday 4 October 9am–3.30pm cartoon version of your own, or an imagined, $90 furry friend and then bring it to life using simple animation hacks. Watch your pal pant, wag, wiggle or Learn from the best in this full day of Dance. Whether a twitch and create a unique gif to send out to friends! beginner or a pro, if you have a passion for dance then you don’t want to miss this day. Students will participate in 3 different styles of dance taught by StarTime Designer for a Day expert choreographers. Groups will be split into age Years K–6 and skill to ensure each dancer gets a challenging and Friday 22 April 9am–3.30pm exciting day of dance. $105 Photography Fun 101 You’ll have a ball being the head of your own clothing Years 3–6 label with StarTime’s Designer for a Day workshop. Wednesday 5 October 9am–3.30pm Collaborate with a team of other young designers as $90 you become the founders of your own clothing company. Learn design and marketing basics as you Take your photography skills to the next level in a fun, work together to create a memorable company name engaging and knowledge based day teaching you how and design an eye-catching logo for your fashion to take your photographs to the next level with the label. Then you'll get to design and craft your very own most basic camera & equipment. Students will learn T-shirt line! about the 7 elements of photography in scavenger hunt around the school and create their very own light ring to make those photos pop. Tennis Clinics Students are welcome to bring their own camera or Years K-6 iPad. iPads will also be provided. Wednesday 5 & Thursday 6 October 9am–1pm $65 StarTime Science & Magic Years K–2 An opportunity to work with the Ascham Tennis Wednesday 5 October 9am–3.30pm coaches focusing on fitness, skill development and $105 game play. Groups will be split into age-appropriate small groups. Current & future players welcome. An age old rivalry! In this fun-packed day Note Tennis Clinics finish at 1pm. we'll dabble in both scientific spectacles and mind-boggling mystic arts. learn to be a “MAD scientist as you perform a range of exciting experiments led by our resident MAD professor Dr Dinglesplodge! Then, learn some mind-bending tricks and the theatrical performance skills necessary to keep their audience on their toes!
