Terry will resigning after the production of the May newsletter. VTAG is calling for those interested parties who may be willing and able to take on the role as editor of the Village Voice newsletter to nominate. This paid position entails monthly collection and collation of various commu- nity reports, the placing of advertisements and having the completed news- letter emailed to the printers by the 23rd/24th of each month. A trip to Benalla is required to pick up the newsletter and deliver the printed copies to the Violet Town post office. Familiarity with desktop publishing would be necessary as well as a reliable internet service. The ability to work within constraints (time and available newsletter space) is important. The newsletter is limited to 24 pages, with first priority given to community news then business promotion/ advertisements. There will be no political bias, or personal criticisms in the content of the newsletter. Time required to produce the newsletter is envisaged to be approx. 8-10 hours.
