IMPORTANT INFORMATION ARRIVAL Alpacas must arrive and be penned between 11.00 am and 3.00 pm on Thursday 30 August. Arrival times will be staggered and exhibitors will be advised of their allotted arrival time two weeks prior to the Show. Alpacas not arriving by their specified arrival time may be disqualified by the Chief Steward. ENTRY GATE All vehicles are to enter through the Leader Street Gate. PAVILION Alpacas will be housed in the Alpaca & Goat Pavilion on the Western Boundary of the Showground (immediately north of the Sheep Pavilion). INSPECTION OF EXHIBITS The Society shall appoint a person or persons as an inspector or inspectors who shall then examine all Alpacas for eligibility. All alpacas will be inspected for lice upon arrival and prior to entering the Pavilion. Any decision or determination of disqualification is entirely within the discretion of the Chief Steward and shall not be challenged or called into question in any proceedings or in any manner whatsoever. The Chief Steward will classify all entries for colour and has the power to transfer an exhibit to the class in which, in his/her opinion, it should have been entered. The Chief Steward may combine or split classes as he/she sees fit in consultation with the Supervisor. Exhibits must carry a minimum fleece length of 50 mm for Huacayas and 75 mm for Suris. Huacaya 12 months and older must be shorn regularly so that no more than 15 months fleece is carried at the time of showing. Suri should carry no more than 24 months fleece. REMOVAL OF VEHICLES Exhibitors are required to remove their vehicles from the Showground immediately after animals have been inspected and penned. All exhibitors must obtain a “Permit to Remove Stock” from the Alpaca Supervisor prior to departure.

Waiver of Insurer’s Rights You must not enter into any agreement without the written authority of the insurer whereby any of their rights to which they become entitled as your insurer after settling or agreeing to settle a claim are prejudiced or limited in any way otherwise all benefit under the policy will be forfeited.
