ADULT GUIDE FROM THE DIRECTOR Graydon H. Yohe Director, Health Zone At Saint Francis Now in my 30th year working at Health Zone, it is my honor to see our membership becoming stronger and healthier. It is such a privilege to be in a place where everyone is motivated to improve a little bit every single day. This was especially true on August 6, when we welcomed 164 children ages 6 to 13 to Health Zone for our annual Kids Mini Triathlon. This was our largest number ever in the eight-year history of the triathlon, and we were thrilled to see that kids and families were so enthusiastic to get back after one year off because of the pandemic. We started the triathlon because we realized that a lot of kids wanted and needed more physical fitness in their lives, and they deserved a great event like the triathlon to celebrate their accomplishments. It was great to see little ones who still needed the assistance of a kickboard beam with pride as they made it down and back in our pool. And I could tell that just as many kids were really taking it seriously, and this could be the start of a lifelong love of triathlons for them. We hope every child had fun, and we are so glad their parents, grandparents and siblings could celebrate those accomplishments with them. NEW MEMBER SPOTLIGHT - SCOTT NIELD Health Zone would like to extend a welcome to Scott Nield, the “This is the cruise ship that just doesn’t leave the port,” he new president and CEO of Montereau. said. “We’ve got all the amenities, all the programming, great Scott is an athlete, having played soccer in England and his ambiance, great relationships.” native Scotland, and he is a former golf pro.
