For me, the Academic Post as a registrar was a test- of-fit to see if a PhD was for me. It is a big commitment and I wasn’t sure if I had what it takes! Ultimately, I really loved the people at the Department of General Practice and was excited by all the progressive work being done. I think the curiosity itch of undiscovered knowledge got me over the line to sign up for a PhD and I couldn’t think of a better place to be studying it in regards to primary care. Dr Daniel Epstein
