This International program aims at providing officers with a sound grounding on Public Financial management issues of Budget formulation, approval, execution and evaluation, the contemporary challenges in Government Accounting, and the role of Audit in effective PFM. Apart from addressing the recent developments impacting PFM in India, the program would also provide hands on training on the latest analytics tools enabling managers to make better sense of Public finance data, and quantitative techniques for program evaluation. The two week training at AJNIFM is followed by a 1 Week International attachment with either at Civil Service College, London U.K. or University of California, Riverside US or Seneca College, Toronto, Canada where participants would be exposed to some of the relevant PFM practices in vogue in UK/USA/Canada. 2021-22

Eligibility for this Programme Mid level officials working in various Ministries/ Department/Autonomous Bodies, members of Accounts/Finance Services of GoI, State Governments, officials of the Public Sector Undertakings/Banks, officials dealing with Government Budgeting and/or Accounting, Public Expenditure Professionals and academicians in CTIs etc. Participants should have working knowledge of English. (GST as applicable—no GST for trainings sponsored by Government). The course fee includes tuition fee, course material, boarding and lodging at AJNIFM, Faridabad. It also includes the International attachment charges on tuition fee (payable to international partners), course material, Air travel (Economy class), Health insurance and accommodation during international attachment. The course fee does not include DSA for the international component which would be paid by the sponsoring authority as per admissibility. Venue & Duration: Total duration of the programme is three Weeks, out of which, first two weeks of the programme will be conducted at AJNIFM, Faridabad.
